I was born and raised in So Calif in the 60's...lived in a small desert town..we rode bikes then motorcycles all over the hills and sand of the dry river bed wash....Steve McQueen had a shack out there and then later he would hang out at Indian Dunes dirt track....guys would hangout at the " Fast House " a small home for beer drinking at dirt bike riders and such..

I recall in 2018 when I retuned from a demo ride on the Indian Scout Bobber (having come of age in Italy driving Ducati). I took off my helmet and exclaimed, “that was orgasmic and makes me proud of American motorcycles again!” 🤣 Though later I sold it to pay for my girlfriend’s hospital bills, I still recall how she used to joke with me asking if I was “going to ride a “bobber” or a “boober.”” (The latter meant she was riding two up with me). Though I now own a BMW 1250 GSA, R18 100 Years (thanks to Freddie’s “The German Pinup” review), and a Ducati xDiavel, the Indian Scout Bobber is such pure badass FUN I would recommend it to anyone - particularly beginning riders. (I even fondly recall the crackly sound the bike makes as it cools down, which is audible in the video. Great review Freddie and Monica! Please let us know if you are ever in the USA, and particularly Texes - I would enjoy hosting you and riding some of the Old West together. 🤙🏻

I'm a 2021 Scout Bobber owner as well, she's my pride and joy, absolutely stunning bike in every way. I put SuperTrapp exhausts on it, it's the only mod I've done, I also got the comfort seat from Indian cause the stock one is really uncomfy. Not that you would get this bike for the comfort in the first place anyway ;) I'd like to also mention how powerful and well geared the bike is, the gears are long, the bike revs up to 8k RPM and it pulls really hard. Very torque-y and linear power all the way through the powerband.
@kelso82002 жыл бұрын
Would you upgrade to the new Chief if given the option?
@shark20752 жыл бұрын
@@kelso8200 Sorry for the late answer but definitely not. I'd get the Chief as a second bike if anything, for longer trips, the Scout Bobber is something else and it has to be part of my garage. The Chief is an excellent bike as well don't get me wrong, but the look and feel of the ISB is unique.

I’m on my second Indian now, I think they’re awesome. My latest one is the normal scout but the anniversary edition. Indian make great bikes. Loving the bike Freddie, very cool, bags of personality and a little different I’m sure you’d feel very special riding it, I’m riding a customised Triumph T120 of which, when I swapped in to the cruiser style, I thought I may be selling out to having fun, but I have to say it’s probably the opposite, and a big part of that is the feeling you get. I have had it de catted though and a x pipe fitted. Enjoying the videos keep them flowing😉

Those thermals are a good price. Always better to buy them from a non-motorcycle outlet. This bike is a thing of beauty. Even the bit that sticks backwards to take the registration plate doesn't look bad. I just can't get on with feet-forward. Good debut.
