Having not picked the camera up for a few days whilst Jon was continuing his recovery back in the motorhome we thought we would do a little video just to bring you all up to date with progress.
Again thank you to everyone for all your well wishes and support, we were overwhelmed and humbled by the amount of people donating to us through 'buy us a coffee' and the 'go fund me'.

Thanks, yeah my recovery seems to be quite swift at the moment, still a way to go but really positive so far. Can't wait to explore Cornwall more, been down here surfing in my youth but there is more to Cornwall than the beautiful beaches even though we do love being back close to the coast again.

6 months seems a long time , but your body needs to adjust and get stronger week by week . Some days you will feel great and push your body to much , then you will be ill for a day or 2 . Learn to only do so much and not overdo it. I'm over 2 years in Remission now and there's lots I can't do ,which I used to before all the chemo and Stem Cell treatment. Positive thinking and positive actions 😁 Well Done you have come so far 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Thanks for your comment Bryan, yeah I think the consultant was being cautious with 6 months, there's no way I could afford to be off work for that long. you are right though when you push yourself a bit too far you do feel quite rough for the next few days so I still need to learn the balance. Glad to hear you have been in remission for 2 years, wishing us both onward recovery from here.

Oh wow so good to see you looking well Jon, My wife Dru has Myeloma and 5 years ago had the nightmare prison cell as she called it isolation for 5 weeks in QA Portsmouth, she has her checks every three months and is clear and we know one day it’s coming back as there is no cure at present, just treat it as long as can. She says she still has taste issues even now . From the chemo , Tash I know how you have been feeling too I had to work full time , wash her clothes and keep her topped up , visits after work, got my dinner about 11 at night and all the rest as you are aware. Emotions all over the place, lots of us do care very much and wish we all could do more for you both, Anyway sending you both lots of love and best wishes keep getting stronger Jon take care ,love to Mandy too when you see her, probably don’t remember me I’m from your home town too, Ray

Thanks Ray, sorry to hear about your wife hopefully she has many happy years to come ahead of her. Yes it is a bit like prison when you are in isolation and what is the chemo mouth/taste all about!? Tash has been amazing to be fair and couldn't of done it without her I think sometimes its harder on the partner keeping everything going as normal life has to go on outside the hospital, you don't have to do anything for us as the positive comments have blown us away and given us more strength than you know. We will pass on your well wishes for Mandy.
