Depends on the church size and what you love to use. I always use my 35mm 1.8 or my 50. I bring my 85 and 70-200 for longer shoots.

What about those lines that shows on photos when there’s a led wall behind worship? Is there a way to smooth those out?

A year late but you need to match your shutter speed with the led light's frequency. Depending on where you are that's either in factors of 1/50 (1/100, and so on) or 1/60 (1/125, and so on).
