My husband and I are both Jesus followers. He is our hope. We're a blended family with 6 kids at home. We both lost our jobs 3 days apart. March 27th & 30th. I had my job for 13 years. My husband had just started a job we had litterally prayed for, for years. I don't know the reason. I am scared. But with God, I know there is a purpose. We probably won't see what it was until after we're out of this storm. But His Word says he will get us out of the other side. I trust that he will. I also know that the fire refines. We are blessed beyond measure. So blessed by Him. Even now, especially now. I'm thankful for whatever lesson he is trying to teach us. I am thankful he is carrying us. Prayers for all brothers and sisters in WAYYY worse situations around the world than us. I am praying for YOU ALL!!!

By far the best church channel on youtube right now. The more I listen the more I understand myself and god's word. I was lawless and soaked in sin for so long and now have been dried off by salvation. I'll never go back to that old person, I can finally recognize myself in the mirror. Great testimony Evan. Our God is an awesome God who can and will always do what's best for us. He's a good father. I have been a Christian 26 years and God has always taken care of my enemies, helped me in times of trouble, been through trials and tribulations and there have been many. I needed to hear this. 38 and single, still saving myself for my future husband. I've had 2 opportunities for marriage but they were men who did not want to hear or learn about Jesus. I really want a family and the years are passing by... Every night I sob myself to sleep out of loneliness... I've withdrawn from friends because everyone but me is coupled and activities, even church-based ones, get awkward. During this time in trying to build a closer relationship with God, but bitterness and hopelessness are taking root. This hurts so much...! Sometime "God's preparation come packaged as pain". Nice one! This is so true because God does not allow things to happen without purpose; honestly, there are things that we would not accept in our lives until certain things happen, so it can humble us to welcome the change. "Realize that God may be doing something in you before He does something through you". Yes Sir, you are truly lead by the Spirit of God in your interpretation of the Gospel; this is timely, and it encourages me to keep on trusting 😊 Him, for I know that He is using everything that I encounter to work for my good. So fed of the seasons of immense pain and suffering. I screamed out at God yesterday, like when God?. Sometimes I battle with feeling God has forgotten my address. Thank you for the powerful sermon, really like watching videos of Life Church! I am going through an immense season that just seems like there is no end. But there is an end and my expectation will not be cut off. I can’t understand the pain at all, complete darkness but I feel encouraged that God has me, indeed the bigger the suffering the bigger the purpose.

Oh yes! I know pain all too well. Though one of the weakest in my law enforcement academy - God taught me persistence and that He would he with me. In a recent job, with the worst supervisor I have ever had, God taught me humility. More recently, insulted for defending the Bible - I am learning to strip away the flesh. Just a few examples of many. I have trained myself to first thank God in my pain for whatever character trait he is building in me. I love Life church ! These messages are the reason why !

God has a purpose for every pain, I know that now. I blamed God for my failed marriage not knowing that he was protecting the kids and I and preparing us for what we truly deserved.

Almost 3 years ago my husband was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease. It’s hard, believe me, but I try to remember that God is breaking me to build me to a higher purpose. I know that God will be faithful to me even in my lowest moments.

I never watched messages from LifeChurch, but tell ya, in the past few days Pastor Craig Groeschel has been comforting to listen to. He touches on actual hurt and trauma that people are going through. He shows he has a heart for people that are struggling with mental health and doesn't hesitate to show true emotion. Sometimes people need to see and feel that the preacher actually cares, and I get that from him even through a screen. May he always be a vessel for God to reach people.
