Immediately I wake up I read my youversion bible and pray and worship the Lord for 30mins to an hour I start my day with a God and end it with God as well in between the day I leave my home and go somewhere where i can watch one sermon a day and read the bible I also try to apply the lessons learned from these sermons to live like Jesus and love like him So it's all about starting and inviting God into your day so the Holy spirit can guide and lead you day to day ❤

It’s not sometimes so much about God being a tool, but sometimes we just have to faith that God is going to do something that is going to do the miracle, and when he doesn’t do it, it’s only natural, but to feel sad, let down or even betrayed I honestly don’t feel believe feeling those emotions are a sin, but letting that control you/consume you or letting that stop us from loving God is what is really a sin like what happened to us part from him . My daughter passed away April 6 of 2023 and I have prayed for miracle and others have prayed for a miracle, but the answer was no. My daughter Christian and I had come back from a retreat sometimes it has nothing to do with us trying to use God as a tool. Sometimes they’re just things we go through that we just don’t understand.

I had a miscarriage last year in October and many women I know that are friends and acquaintances, went on to have healthy pregnancies and soon to be, healthy babies. Thank our Lord Jesus for it too! However, I did have my let down, RIGHT AFTER coming back to Him. I didn’t want to fall short again after a loss (even though I prayed every night to not lose my baby). I took a break from church and the Bible study but still worshipped and prayed (somewhat) on my own. This spoke to me though because it’s what I did in the past. This time, I’m just seeking Him and His comfort because that’s really all I want right now after the hurt.

I have had a transactional relationship with God for as long as I can remember. I had a toxic up bringing where my safety was transactional with my family. There was no love. So it’s hard to say this. But this message was exactly what I needed. I fell in love with God through Psalm 63 a decade ago. “Earnestly I seek you” and look how far I have fallen. I am praying now for God to forgive me and show me his heart. Not to ‘get’ what I want, but to get more of him. ❤

Great message Pastor. Thank you. It's not our will be done. Everything is about God's will being done. Life is difficult and cruel very often because of sin. We need to just keep looking up and praising our Savior. I'll never forget how powerful a statement from Billy Graham affected me. He said "if you was the only person on earth that Jesus would still have come to sacrifice Himself just to save you". That's as intimate and as personal as it can get. I find myself in this transactional place with God. The concept rings true no matter who we are, but I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t feel harder for those who haven’t been blessed with as much as Pastor Craig. When your life feels empty in every other way, it makes this mindset that much more difficult.
