This song may sound like it's in the context of abortion but deep down, this song is about every each of us - we fall into circumstances and can't handle things. We die for a while but then again - we grow one more time ♥ when we introspect, we find a version of ourselves that we all have drowned or killed, sometimes we kill our innocency, sometimes we kill our needs. Every Song hits different to different people. And this is just what I interpret from this song ❤

Parents who are caught up in their own hurt and loss, sometimes take that pain out on the reminders of a failed attempt at love. Us reminders must find our own self value because we have often been abandoned by those whose purpose was to instill a sense of self worth. Often we become better parents, better at relationships by striving to give our own children the attention and love we wanted/needed. The circle continues. I am my father's clone. My sister was my mother's. They remarried and had more versions of themselves. A good thing I feel. But my sister and I are a lifelong reminder of a failed first love. And we felt it. Time heals all. But songs like this help.

It's a beautiful song but I'm gonna dare to think that Elena is singing about her own story, the grief of her own child or something of the sort and is not criticizing abortion. I would be highly disappointed otherwise.

it's actually "Stop you growing limbs and thinking" not "limps" :D I think the song is rather about an unwanted/unloved child

This one hurts. I recently found out that my biological grandmother didn’t want my dad. He indeed stole my grandfathers features. My dad was given up for adoption and after finding my grandmother, I’ve also found that she doesn’t want to talk to him or me. I’m thinking of contacting her again since it’s been several months, just to say I think of her often. It just kinda...hurts to know I’m not wanted by someone I searched for. For so long. I’m eighteen, but I’ve always wanted to know who my biological family was because of my dad being adopted, and his adopted parents being... less than friendly.

Sounds like Your dad is a good dad, it may hurt but just be happy with your dad, don't force a relation with someone who doesnt want anything to do with u cuz Will only hurt you more, enjoy the little things, life is to short to worry about people who are assholes

Jason Bourne wrong. This song is about living children that are not wanted by their parents. Quite the opposite of what you think.

Jeremy Peterson you’re wrong. Song is about abortion and the woman who wrote it is pro-life. She discussed her views on this when I’ve seen her perform.
@Zzzk232 жыл бұрын
@@Tranquileyess I heard this song was about an illegal/forced abortion. The woman made the CHOICE to want to keep it but was forced to abort it. Forcing an abortion on someone who wants it isn’t pro-choice. It’s pro abortion
