I had the pleasure of meeting Barry in person during one of the memorable Madison Square Garden concerts just following his release of "Somewhere Down the Road". He asked me what I thought of the show, and I just simply said it was spectacular. He truly is a consummate showman, performer, entertainer, singer, songwriter, and arranger, all rolled up in one. His hypnotic melodies are memorable from the first bar onwards. Words that relate to anytime or anyplace on the globe, he is relevant and timeless. His songs are like fresh, warm, buttery popcorn, and they make anyone pop with enthusiasm. Manilow is to music as bubbles are to champaign. He puts you in the mood to relax, enjoy, cry, laugh, or ponder, like an endless friend. A genuine philanthropic supporter of life, love, and the arts.

My daughter and granddaughter took me in July 2024, to his concert in Indianapolis, his Final Tour concert. I have been lucky enough to attend 7 of his concerts, and at 81, he still gave his all at his Final Tour concert. I have been fortunate enough to be his fan since 1971, and I have his first album! I loved him then and I still love him. I don’t care if he’s married to another man. Love is love and I love his singing and showmanship! I will listen to his music as long as I’m alive! ❤️❤️❤️

Barry doesn't know this and probably never will. I discovered Barry in 1977 by what can only be an act of God. For God knew what was in store for me and gave me the gift of Barry and his Manilow Magic. ✨ Barry's music led me through some of the loneliest times in my younger years. For a very long time, Barry and his music were my only friend. Now that I'm older and wiser, I look back at those times and am eternally grateful God gave me Barry. 🙏🏼 I can't imagine what other road I might have taken if I hadn't had Barry's music to fill the void of loneliness. Barry, I loved you then, I love you now and I will love you forever! Thank you so much!!! 💜🎶

I'm a 67 year old hetro man an love the Raiders, Eastwood, EAGLES, DOOBIE BROTHERS. However I have been a Manilow fan from the beginning and sing the songs in the car when I feel like it. An unmistakable voice and fun concert. He came out gay when he obviously didn't know most fans found it as no surprise and didn't care. The music is still great.

I was 6 in 1974. I was playing with Barbie’s when Barry came on the TV. My mom told the story often. When i heard him singing i threw the Barbie’s down and went and sat 2 inches from the TV and didn’t move till he was done. When the song ended i looked at my mom, with tears in my eyes and said “I love him!!!!”. I am 56 now and that hasn’t changed!!! This man is amazing!!! Manilowes music still is playing in my home. My dad first introduced us all at home with his music. My dad had the same voice at Barry manilow. I remember hearing his music when my dad was off of work and on sundays. I never got to see manilow perform but my mom and sister did. They were so happy. Maybe one day I’ll get to see him perform. But for now I listen to his music and relax. Love u Barry manilow.

In the past if was impossible, I lived behind the iron courtain and even if Vienna, Austria was just 45 minutes by car, the border was closed. He wears entirely too much makeup while it does not look like his husband does. That disappoints me but it's not for me to say what he does with his life. While I don't agree with a lot of his life, that has nothing to do with his fabulous voice and his music. God has certainly gifted this man with his talents.
