I’m feeling fortunate to have experienced Dylan’s unique attitude, creativity, talents, and to have seen him perform in person many times. He has a refreshing sense of originality and, in my opinion, is brilliant. How can one be blessed with so much talent. I once attended a celebration of life which featured recordings from Dylan’s spiritual creations. So touching and apropos.

I was born in 1951 and in my teens grew up loving Bob Dylan's music. Still do in 2024. I had to laugh a bit at his 'cars' --- his '1966 mustang convertible' looks much more like a Corvette (I had a 1967 Mustang and it looked QUITE different from your pic). Regardless, he is an icon. Tho released in 2000, his 'Things Have Changed' still keeps me clicking back on it for 'just one more listen'... no one in front of me and nothin behind......

I started really listening to Bob Dylan in London in 1965 than in Paris 1968 my than boyfriend played his music. I’ve been in love with his lyrics and music ever since and I’ve been lucky in having seen his performances through all these years. Intergal part of my life.

I was a young Marine (USMC 1962-66), I'm 80 now, it was in the early sixties when I first heard Joan Baez and then Bob Dylan. Though born and raised in NYC I now live in rural North Central PA. One of my favorite pastimes is to ride the dirt roads with my "wife's dog" spotting for deer and listening to mostly Bob Dylan's music.

I'm a survivor (only just) of the generation that Bob Dylan was 'the voice of' back in the 1960s and '70s. He's one of those whom the Gods smile on unlike PF Sloane who wrote 'Eve of destruction' and other great songs in the folk rock genre and who died realatively unknown aged 68. And we have our own English Jerry Lordan who wrote 'Apache' 'Wonderful Land' as well as lots of other great songs/tunes; he too went largely ignored while The Shadows took all the credit. I myself have self published 15 books and I still remain as poor as a church mouse with physical and mental health problems. Why should 'Citizen Dylan' aka 'Citizen Kane' be so feted while other creative minds, myself included, get zilch for our devotion to our craft.? Only today I've listened to 'Gates of Eden' from the days when 'Bob Dylan' was really relevant. Why is he still touring today? His voice must sound as rough as Leonard Cohen'd did before he died aged 82. And if he's still 'singing' his own songs the words must sound empty and hollow for the man who's been given everything in this life of his. If I had $2 million I'd be rich, c'mon Bob how are fixed for an unrepayable loan or 'gift.' I bet you earn that much in interest every day on your huge fortune?

Barring the obvious computer driven narrator, the best value I can get out of this as a Dylan fan, is the information it provides. Really not too much else. There’s a limit to how much stupid AI generated voiceovers we can tolerate. To the creator I politely ask, “What, is your voice so distasteful that you sound like some dumb brute that you can’t overcome your lack of self esteem to do a simple narrative.? You can read can’t you? Oh, have I touched a nerve? I’m so sorry. Why does he use AI? Why does he not pull up his fly? or keep his shoes tied. A genuine discourse on Dylan. He lied. Can we all refrain from laughing; we died.

No one cares what he owned…his cars, his homes, his money. Material things will never give you the true meaning of life’s lessons. Listen to his lyrics, it is there you will find Bobs soul and gift to share it…in a selfless way…through music like no other. We, who love him, his amazing music, as well as the life he led…are blessed to have had him share the true meaning of what life is all about. 🤍
