@Mike Russo the bassline played a note that wasn't in the key of the song, E flat major. After the lyric 'waiting to come to life', I believe a D flat note is played instead of a D, which just sounds awful to those with some musical background (I'm not a musician but it still doesn't sound nice hah), hence why Jason gave that dirty look to bass :)
