Tienes toda la razón. Cuando deja de funcionar, lo que hacemos es descalcificar por dentro pero el problema realmente está en el botón del vapor. Gracias por el vídeo, había intentado arreglarla antes y gracias a este vídeo lo he conseguido

This worked great for me and my Bissell Steam Shot! Turns out a regular old 6 mm socket worked perfectly on that little nut and avoids the hassle of having to use needle-nose pliers. I soaked the gold pin and those ports in a descaling solution before cleaning them to really try to get off all of the hard minerals and gunk. After reassembling, it works like new!

Am working on a Bissell Steam shop.. Same set up, same problem... only it is VERY difficult to take out the golden pin. Thanks for the upload!

Apply penetrating lubricant from the front and back of the plunger bore, tap the brass button gently forward with a hammer, loosen the 6mm nut until it is just flush with the threaded brass rod (about 2 turns), use a 1/4" wood dowel or piece of chopstick and tap the plunger back with a hammer. If it is very stuck tap back and forth and apply lubricant until it loosens, then remove the nut and washer and tap it out.

When you screwed back the plastic tube, what substance did you apply (looks like varnish or polish) tp prevent steam from leaking out.?

There was varnish. And painted with nail polish. It seems everything is ok.

Дуже гарна інструкція по розбірці приладу. Особливо, якщо враховувати, що в мене інший виробник та модель Clatronic dr 2930. Але не зрозуміло, як саме ви витягнули клапан. Отже я не знайшов інструмент, як у вас і просто взяв та прокип'ятив в розчину лимонної кислоти. Занурив цю частину з клапаном у розчин і прокип'ятив десь 6-7 хвилин. Воно очистилося аж до блиску. Потім просто змастив рухомі частини клапану. Тож тим хто теж не може розібрати клапан - достатньо просто використати засоби проти накипу. Але все одне дякую вам за відео!

Hello, thank you for this great video, I didn't know I could find anything about this steam station that I bought a very long time ago. But I have a huge issue with it: I didn't use it since a long time and today my problem is that I can't open it anymore. I really try hard to turn the safety cap to the left but it seems to be stucked and I can't open it. Do you have any idea what I can do? Many thanks in advance! I also don't have any use intructions anymore :/

Thanks for the comment. Be sure to press hard on the cap and try to twist! Try to turn the safety cap, possibly with a key.

@@LifeKaki Thank you for answering, and so quickly :)) Unfortunately I tried and tried, and it doesnt move at all. I even knocked once with a hammer to see if a hard pressing could help but I think it's only the turning thing that doesn't work. If I don't find a solution I'm afraid I will have to throw it away, and this is a pity. I saw somewhere how to break the cap somehow, but for that I'd need an ersatz for the security cap, but I don't know where to find it since the company seems to be a no-name one, right?

Thanks but as an average consumer with limited tools and knowledge....this would not be an easy fix. Better to buy a new one and trash the other one. Bummer because I did as instructed and used distilled water every use!

Manufacturers are counting on you to keep the cash flowing into their pockets. Capitalism at its finest low point for for consumers. Me? Oh I'd rather fix it myself and save the money. Waiting on a water pressure switch for my washing machine tomorrow so I can repair my water leveler and get my laundry done. Took 5 minutes to remove it, 5 minutes to order the part, and will take me 5 minutes to install it. Im a 65 year old woman who can do anything if i set my mind to it. 😢

Hice exactamente lo mismo que tú, aunque no necesité un sargento para enroscar la pequeña tuerca. Lo hice con llave de tubo. Sigue sin expulsar vapor. Quizá, estoy roscando la tuerca pequeña demasiado ? No sé, pero una vez colocado el émbolo para empujar con el gatillo de vapor está muy duro para desplazarse ( está lijado y desobstruido de cal y el conducto también ) y ni con mi pulgar puedo desplazarlo. El gatillo no mueve el émbolo y no sé el porqué.

Vale ya está. Metí demasiado la parte que empuja el gatillo y no tenía recorrido. Empujé desde la parte posterior retiré unos milímetros la parte anterior. Ahora el gatillo sí que lo mueve.

​@@LifeKakisubtitles would have been nice. So, if I cannot see the bar move does that mean that my trigger is jammed? It worked perfectly, refilled the reservoir with more distilled water. Then it did not heat up. The red light stayed on but the water was not hot. Is that a trigger problem, the thermal fuse, or is there a pump in these hand held as well? I have a shark euro-pro pressurized steamer. What could be the issue? Oh I accidently left it plugged in after it worked, I turned it off and and it didn't have any more steam it. So I refilled it with more distilled and it didn't get hot at all.
