I also recall a segment on their weekend show...I believe it was All American Wrestling...... Heenen and Mean Gene were talking about a up coming wrestling Card.....during the segment Heenen being a heel called Sherri a bimbo and Mean Gene mentioned it to Sherri who got angery and chased after Heenen.

I feel like remaining a lifelong heel is way more difficult than a lifelong face. With a face, you just get beat up a bunch, cut a few teary promos, and beat the baddies. With heels, you are constantly having to take the initiative, draw out that emotional response from fans while not entirely burying the faces.

You know what one of my favorite things to find is? The "best known as a bad guy (or gal)" star as a hero(one) in a film. One of my all-timers for this is a 1991 movie you probably never heard of called Interceptor. Gunther is quite an interesting character. Even if presented as a heel, he does not really act like the typical wrestling heel. He has his own moral codex he lives by, "The mat is sacred". Also his promos are not full of the typical heel profanities and insults to the crowd they normally do Think that makes people respect him even if he is a heel. On the other hand it is more or less tradition in US wrestling, that a german or austrian wrestler has to play some sort of Nazi inspired character. Same with Gunther his entrance the long coat, similar to the WWII german army coat, his stern look and calling himself the Ring General. Then pairing him with a german and an italian and calling it Imperium, you hardly can get more obvious apart from flying swastika flags on his entrance. To be honest I do not think that character in any way would work as a true babyface, but as long as he stays true to his rules, think people will respect the character.

The thing about a lot of these is that they always had a justifiable reason for being and staying heel. The Ravishing One, for example, had the right attitude, but it was staying in the employ of The Weasel that made him so hated. And yes.., of course they were nice people in real life, most of them, because the reality is.. it is the nice people who know what real evil acts and looks like. Okay. there is no other way to say this: *_David Otunga had NO CREDIBILITY as a wrestler, and single handedly destroyed the perception of the Nexus as a faction!!_* The man was "the Tool" that inspired the spinoff of the spinoff of *_Flavor of Love_* , MTV's *_Tool School_* !!!
