finally, an indian just like me who likes black metal too especially lifelover, which is currently my favourite band and this being my favourite song at the moment. black metal isn't really accepted much here but good to see homies here :) Kim's vocals are really something how captivating and deep, right? especially for this song, the way he says the last, damn that gives me chills. rip Kim, you are still heard and loved :)

@@thedhruvsharda people here suck ass lol. People everywhere suck infact xD music taste over here is a shittiest pit of gutter you'll ever find lol. Good thing me and you and maybe a few others still have a solid taste. I've been into DSBM since last 3-4 years now and I've been into black metal and heavy metal since last 5 years. I never liked bollywood BS or the pop BS they make these days. We're OG metalheads 😌 also i write my own DSBM music and lyrics so if you wanna check that out lemme know 😉

@@thedhruvsharda I've been following Kim's music for a while now and now his music is the only one i can listen to. It calms me down and helps me with depression as well. Im a crazy huge fan of all his projects, Lifelover, Hypothermia, Kall, Life is Pain, Consider Suicide and Horns Emerging. Infact i made my girlfriend start liking Consider Suicide and Hypothermia as well 🤣

Give me something to break before I break myself Or take me somewhere, anywhere is fine - just fine "Fine, just fine" Words as these, may they come true by repetition? Monotony, my constant woe, ally and foe We're doing this silly dance together tip, tip, tip on toe Tripping, once again I cannot help but to smile But trust me, it is in frustration Would you really believe things just as much? No matter what, I end up with this mindnumbing feeling The shallow smile is gone but there is this unjustified joy But in the end all of that doesn't really matter I just end up shivering by this echo within: Is it cold in here, or is it just me?

In Polish it also means competition, auditioning for a talent show, or trying to win a prize in a newspaper, and an older word, "konkury", means basically competition, but in a context, it is usually used as in 'fighting for a woman's heart'

How is this black metal.... Don't get me wrong I like DSBM and lifelover but I'm not sure I would consider this "black metal" I think xasthur sticks to the DSBM theme but it sounds a lot more black metal than this and psychonaut4
@thenarcopath4889 жыл бұрын
thats because its Narcotic Metal, a SUB-Genre of DSBM which is a Sub-genre of Black Metal. its got several different elements including post-punk, definitely not just the same old shit.
@Kaputaxii8 жыл бұрын
It's black metal + goth/depressive rock. In some ways I think this is some of the blackest of metal.

It's not *just* black metal... Sure there are elements of black metal here but this band somewhat defies genre conventions by melding lots of different styles together. It's a fusion of depressive black metal with goth, rock, and post-punk elements. I think most people just call it "DSBM" for simplicity's sake, but they aren't just a cut and dry DSBM band, that's for sure.
