What a difference this has made in my desire to see WSX succeed in its mission, being in the USA I felt threatened by the possibility of losing the outdoor Championships luster and not having the platform for my grandsons to grow in while perfecting their skills in a relatively safer side of our sport. We need a world SX series for sure but for all the developing athletes in every country if outdoor Moto doesn’t stay super strong then the base level skills will be to dangerous to acquire, even Haden and Jettison grew into the health athletes they are is because Motocross is less of a risk for a young developing racer. I don’t have the formula exactly but part of it is keeping grassroots Motocross thriving everywhere or very shortly we’ll loose the input of a large enough pool of elites to fill the gates for a SX championship in any country. Moms and some families won’t risk the health of their children and will choose another sport. 🤔
