Great Pehlwan (wrestler) of his time. Very humble and soft spoken. Wrestled at national level and was a state and south zone champion. But did not get much recognition that he deserved. State government or Police department should award him at least now. Good idea of making these videos of unrecognized heroes👍

I am seeing that to in avedio after 53 years ie1968. His brother elder sardar khan who was a good football player and was parttime football coach of our school ie st George's Grammer school was a good friend of mine then. I remember that munawar khan was called mannu. Sardar use to tell that mannu was in bad company of gauli pahelwans and pursuing wrestling Against the wishes of family. So what he told is 100% true. My best wishes to him. H

He was very famous also never involved in any wrong doing. He is still gentlemen and he was a real sportsman. He encouraged young kids like Naseer Pahelwan who also got trained and won the competition at Lalbahadur stadium.
