One of the best theatrical experiences since a long time. Actually, it is not just the last 20 minutes but the whole film is engaging. The comedy scenes were also top notch! I am a Malayali and I saw a dubbed Hindi version of 'Kantara' in the theatre. I would have loved to see the original Kannada version with subtitles if I was given a choice. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and what an interesting film it was!

There is another movie directed by his brother Raj B Shetty who is also the lead role..'Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana' in which Rishab has also acted. Oru reksha illa... Brilliant creation... Shazam bro, I am huge fan. Ente oru opinion ivide parayaan aagrahikunnu. Bro last 15 to 20 minutes maathram aanu ah cinemeye kurichu paranjathu. But baaki cinema also deserves equal applause and praise bro. Enthu visual language aanu avaru kaazhchavechathu. Bheegaram. This cinema (according to me) is one of the masterpieces of Indian cinema. Songs aavatte (especially Varaha Roopam) and action sequences were just goosebumps worthy. I say this because there are a lot who depend on your review bro. Hope you take it in the right sense. Kurachum koodi detailed aakaamaarunnu review. Pinne guys, if possible try to see it in the Kannada version itself.

'നല്ല സിനിമ ആണ്, തുടക്കം ഒടുക്കം ഒക്കെ കൊള്ളാം' എന്നൊക്കെ കേട്ടാണ് പോയത്. തുടക്കം തൊട്ട് ക്ലൈമാക്സ് sequences നു മുൻപ് വരെ ആസ്വദിച്ച് തന്നെ സിനിമ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് ഇരുന്നു. Climax sequnce തുടങ്ങി കുറച്ച് നേരം സ്ഥല കാല ബോധം ഇല്ലാതെ സിനിമയുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ ആയി പോയിരുന്നു. ഒരു particular പോയിൻ്റ് എത്തിയപ്പോൾ heart rate വല്ലാതെ ഉയർന്ന് ഇരിക്കുകയാണ് എന്ന് മനസിലായി. കണ്ണ് തള്ളി സ്ക്രീനിൽ നോക്കി ഇരിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് അപ്പോഴാണ് ചെറിയ ബോധം വന്നത്. Overwhelmed ആയി പോയി. വളരെ uncomfortable ആയി ഫീൽ ചെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങി. Vomiting tendency വന്നു. Climax nte അദ്യ portion കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോ theatre il നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങി പോയാലോ എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ പടം ബാക്കി കാണാതെ പോവാൻ മനസ്സ് കൊണ്ടു പറ്റാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് പിടിച്ചിരുന്നു. മൊത്തം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി. ഞാൻ കരയുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്തിനാണെന്ന് ഒരു പിടിയും ഇല്ല. തല കറങ്ങുന്നു. തലയും കയ്യും പെരുകുന്നു. Pressure കുറഞ്ഞതാണെന്ന് മനസിലായി. 10 മിനുട്ട് ഇരുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞ് ഒരു ജ്യൂസ് ഒക്കെ കുടിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞ് ആണ് ഒരു വിധം ശെരി ആയത്. ഇന്നേ വരെ ഒരു സിനിമ കണ്ട് ഇങ്ങനത്തെ അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. ജല്ലിക്കട്ട് കണ്ടിട്ട് കുറച്ച് നേരം theatre il "awe" ഇൽ ഇരുന്നു പോയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആദ്യമായിട്ടാണ് physically ഇത്രേം impact ഒരു സിനിമ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. NB: തെയ്യം ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ പല വട്ടം കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫോബിയ ഒന്നും (എൻ്റെ അറിവിൽ) ഇല്ല.
