Smokey. Good news, I'm 61 years old and been riding on/off during mt life. I will be picking up my 2024 Honda AT ES DCT the end of December 2024. I am so stoked!!! At my age, this will probably be my last bike, but that's okay because I'll end on a high note. Thank you for all you do. Merry Christmas from Kentucky USA!!!

How do you setting up your suspension ? On tour mode and in one person?

It's automatic. Tour makes it softer , enduro makes it harder. Can't set it up by yourself 😊

Yeah some of the Honda staff took it for a ride to see everything was good, after that to Spain where organisers ride it slowly to check out the routes. But you can't go flat out at this place so bike is fine 😁

great video! How was the africa twin heat management? is the bike comfortable during high temperatures? I have a KTM and I feel the heat a lot from the engine and fan. ciao

Didn't have any heat issues as far as I know. I was wearing thermic underwear and sometimes you don't really feel the heat. But I didn't notice anything annoying 😊

I live in Central Texas (Austin) and it’s hot as hell! And sticky heat, too. I have the 2021 CRF1100 with a bunch of frames and heat is something you can become vaguely aware of, but truly not a problem. I rode a friend’s 2023 Ducati Monster yesterday and that was like sitting on a toaster. Truly uncomfortable unless you were moving at 70(+).

I have the CRF 1100 previously owned a GS 800 adventure. The Honda feels a lot more powerful. Like noticeably so. It also feels higher and heavier. They’re both great, but the twin feels more powerful and has better Tech. It has more power than you’ll ever use.

I'm an Airoh guy for sure. All my dirt bike helmets over the years are Airoh. Very lightweight 😊

An interesting comparison would be to compare the Honda CRF1000L (late 2015 and early 2016) against the 2024 offering. Depending on the performance indicators, I’d suggest while the incremental developments are noticeable, the earliest models have withstood the test of time. I’ve been itching to trade up my fully farkled ‘18 AF DCT but, so far, the juice still isn’t worth the squeeze.

I agree. As a 2016 AT DCT owner, I would like to know the difference via a test ride. Considering a 24/25 Adventure Sport DCT, but I’d have to feel a significant difference in performance.
