Really sorry if I'm uploading to much BMW content recently. I still have my 1290 KTM don't worry 🙂. But as a KZbinr trying to turn this channel into my living it's important for me to work with brands who work closely with me. Get the scoops , ride motorcycles fast , keep me noticed , invite me for events and so on so we can support each other as my only stream of money comes fro KZbin add revenue. BMW is giving me everything I need , they support me all the way on my journey. So I return the respect by giving you guys everything you need to know about this motorcycle but still giving my honest opinion. Nobody pays me , I still say what I want and I do what I want 😛. So thank you all for understanding , liking and sharing my videos and maybe some other brands start supporting me as good as BMW does right now.

@baji360 ​ 2020 I started as a new rider on the S1000XR. (causing some weary looking people at the dealership) I didn't have any experience and I didn't need any exams or driver training as my drivers licence is from 1985. For me very important: as much (rider) aids as i could get and a good quickshifter. And yes, I did keep the rainmode on even in the dry. today I have 87000 kms on the bike. No more rainmode necessary.

Love the bike but I think BMW should have put a cool rear light on the bike that would increase visibility. With more and more people on their phones while driving, a good rear light is more important than ever.

Surprisingly, I find the white version very beautiful, as it best conveys this dynamic line. This is immediately followed by the Trophy version. I didn't expect BMW to hit the mark with the new GS in terms of design. Thanks for the video.

I’d like to understand the standard height. How tall are you and does the suspension dynamic suspension help if you are a shorter rider, say like 5’ 8’’?

I'm 176cm , with the special option suspension it lowers the bike under 15km/u and I could almost put both feet on the ground. This one did not have the lowering options so standard it's 850mm and I could touch the floor pretty solid.

I am just watching your BMW experience while lay down on sofa with broken wrist after accident on my k1600 when come back to Scotland from holiday in Italy. Bike written off wife don’t want any more bike in garage as she suffer too after trying be a bird and fly off rear seat and crash to highway barrier and our k1600 is complete destroy after 70mph crash 😢😢😢. Man I wish she will change her mind as I would love to put in my wee garage new r1300gs….Ride safe people watch for those cans crazy drivers.

Hi Smokey! Do you know if they are coming up with a 1300 GS Adventure model? If so, when? I'm having a hard time deciding between a 1250 GSA, a 1300 GS or wait for a 1300 GSA.

The Adventure model will come 100% but it's alway 1 year later. So hold tight for 11 more months 😁

I went with the 1250GSA, because I didn't like the new 1300GS, like the button layout or that the plastic paniers, still no backlit switchgear etc. So I'm not betting on that horse that the 1300GSA improves on any of that. Now I got an unbeatable price for a new factory order MY24 GSA.

Well fun fact , someone asked me that question when I was at the world premiere in Berlin so I walked over to Markus Schramm the ceo of BMW Motorrad and asked him 😂. He said they are working on it...not sure if he was serious or not. Have a picture with him on my Insta haha

From what I've seen, it looks like you had a good time with the folks at BMW. I had a 2019 GSA and now have the 2023 GSA triple black. I have a request in with my BMW dealer to try out the new 1300. I can't wait. One other thing, Smokey, did you hear anything about the rumors that the new GSA would be labeled as a 1400?

Didn't get to ride it yet. They arrive in the US November 4th or something and until then we can't ride them in Europe or something....but someone in the UK is already riding one. Not sure what happend there but I have to follow the rules 🙈

I will get the green one ..prob late next year as ive only just bought the 1250 GS .and want to see if my aftermarket panniers will be able to transfer across..dont like the vario stuff.. went to see one at a local dealer and overall I'm impressed , it's surprisingly light when you stand it up off the side stand compared to the 1250 .. your thoughts on the engine coating ,? I also think there are parts that are little lacking..the back brake pedal looks very ahem cheap ..also the reservoirs for brake and clutch on the handlebars are a tad basic , but at least not plastic ..

Feels soooo much lighter but the gastank was close to empty. This feels so much more easy to handle. Also when riding it slow and techical in the shop on my short it feels really light and stable.

I saw another KZbin short of a guy saying it had an electric center stand. I thought it was a joke and thought they had some other electric noise in the background while they lifted the bike with the center stand. Now I see what they were saying. That’s actually pretty clever to have the assist from the suspension lift system.
