Stephanie am glad you are better with your hand. God is good. Do you all have an electric milk pump for your goats? That would be something good to invest in. My friends had some mama goats that refused to nurse their kids and they used electric pump and got enough on both nipples to feed their kids until they got about 3-4 old that was a great help.

Say-Wouldn’t allowing those babies to follow you guys checking on all the other animals... Be a bit Too Much physically, for Either of them??? Right Now-they’ve barely been born-You Know??? Keeping ALL Of You In My PRAYERS, 😇 🙏🏻

I know it takes time, but please always catch the mamma goat up and check her teats are working, Brandon said that collecting some colostrum is hassle..it is,but its way way better for puny goatlings chances to thrive than the synthetic stuff. Id milk a well endowed mamma to get about a half pint of colostrum, then freeze it in an ice cube tray, ready for any kids that need it, one or two icecubes worth warmed up,fed over the first days of life gives them all the good stuff. Older mamas are more prone to have waxed up or blocked teats.

You’ve probably already checked mama out, but just in case, have you checked to see if there’s a problem with her bag. Maybe some mastitis or something making it uncomfortable for the babies to nurse? Guess it could be that she’s past breeding age and the hormones just aren’t right. Glad that you caught the babies in time to save them. Cute little kids.

If mama gee was looking her babies she’d be hollering for them. It seems she just rejected them both! If Brandon hadn’t found the brown one she’d not be here, poor thing!

Only a suggestion. Perhaps remind the kids that if they wear a mic we hear everything they say or do. The additional sound makes it difficult to hear what you are trying to say. Kids can forget sometimes. Again only a suggestion.
