In my vain opinion this thing didn't work for me. Mine leaked and they sent me another one and it leak. I will stick with my 2 x 5g bucket system (diy 5g water filtration system using Alexapure Filters)

Put the water in a Solar Shower and hang it in a tree. It ain't gonna be the Waldorf Astoria, but it works!

Probably. It'd be a good test. That water isn't contaminated though, just dirty

That is nice base filter. I got a Platypus GravityWorks Group Camping Water Filter System, 4-Liter, only does 1,500 gallons but is easy to put in the backpack
