Folks! Milano! I actually like …just to hang in the city without any real purpose and where ice cream daily is a standard ! 🤣

Outstanding tur of Milan. Perfectly filmed and, best of all, without your own face in every shot blocking the full view of the scenery. I wish other youtubers would learn from you.

Hello, lovely video! I'm from Pavia and has been a nice surprise to see my native city in the lists of places to visit! Pavia it's a rather small city of roman origin in a day you can see pretty much all of it, In the Castle there is a collection of '800 paintings, my favourite is "L' accusa segreta" by Francesco Hayez . Back to Milan I may add a couple of places, If you come by Train to Milan you would probably get into Milano Centrale Station, so while keeping an eye on your belongings, have a look at the station, the main train course arches, the ceramics reproduction of the Italian cities of Rome, Milan, Naples and Florence in the main gallery, and the History of Italy statues in the main hall. The "Last Supper" at Santa Maria delle Grazie visit requires to be booked in advance, so If you don't manage to visit it, but you want still to see some Leonardo original documents ,drawings and sketches you can go to the Pinacoteca (Biblioteca) Ambrosiana. I know that as a tourist you probably would not have time for a visit at La Scala Theatre, however there is a nice museum of the Opera House to get a quicker immersion in the ambience. From the same square, Piazza Scala you might visit Gallerie D'Italia Art museum, in an old bank building, access if free for the permanent exhibitions, I love the "Danza dei figli di Alcinoo" plaster and pretty much any painting regarding Milan with its old canals. The main art Gallery is definitely the "Pinacoteca di Brera" strongly supported by Napoleon, has two giant statues of him represented as Apollo, one in Mable and a bronze replica in the courtyard, apparently he didn't like much that statue as represented him much taller and muscular that he actually was. Very famous paintings in Pinacoteca di Brera are "Lamentation over Death Christ" by Andrea Mantegna and "the Kiss" by Hayez which became pretty much a popular icon during the Italian Reunification. The museum has recently opened a XX century section, I haven't seen it yet so would not say anything on that. Back in the Piazza Duomo, Opposite to the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II, there in a Twin-towered palace there is the "museum of '900" where you can explore the Vanguards of 1900 arts in popular, futurism, conceptualism etc.

L.H., very nice video. I especially loved your opening drone video from overhead of the Duomo and the drone video through the gazebo on Lake Como. We were in northern Italy last fall but didn’t make it to Milan. We expect to return soon (our son-in-law is US Army stationed in Vicenza) and Milan is likely on our list. Please allow me to offer that I thought your transitions between scenes was smoother than some previous videos, both your narrative and soundtrack and the videos. With all due respect, may I also suggest that you maintain a consistent pattern when you transition between locations of either all graphics or briefly blank screens or none? Keep up the great work!

Loved this video, because even though I've been to Milan before, some of the places you highlight, I never visited. Great bit of information, and lots of potential here for future visits. ❤

There’s so many places to eat also I think it’s a solid foodie city

@@LifestyleHal - I wholeheartedly agree. Italy on the whole, makes you re-evaluate your tastes where food is concerned, because similar styled dishes you've had before, just don't compare to the ones you would have in Italy.

Superb video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
