I just put this one together today. Great looking shed but the last corner did not line up and part of my roof did not line up. I managed to still screw them together but I had to make new holes and the alignment was off slightly. I like it but my next shed will definitely be a large wooden shed.

I'm in Texas, have the same shed..bought it in 2012...We've been through several hurricanes, wind/rainstorms and this thing is super solid! The only issue I am now having which is minimal, is the skylight plastic is starting to dry rot on the seam where it folds over the top of the truss. My shed has 2 small ones and two large ones. the large ones are good and are on the actual roof panels. I put some car window butyl sealant on those seams and was good to go.

Real nice. I just started looking for a plastic shed about four days ago and noticed this on Home Depot's website. I initially planned and sketched up a wooden shed that would have been 8'x7'. But after calculating the price of wood and the amount of time to build it, then comparing that cost to the price and time to build one of these. the little extra money to get one of these seems better for my time. I like how you demonstrated the necessary stuff. Even though you lost some of the video, I think what you demonstrated was good. I have some things I will definitely mod to possibly to make the sides more stable. Overall you did an excellent job. And thank you for not blaring the music, I think that alone was worth subscribing.

@BoredGuyWithACamera2 жыл бұрын
So I haven't had any issues with this shed since we purchased it. There is a small gap at the bottom of the door's that let very little rain in when it's a really heavy down pour. I could have added a small lip to it and stopped it but it's not enough to be concerned about. As far as insects I have not had any issues, I use home barrier spray around the outside and inside every time I mow the lawn so I'm pretty sure that is why nothing has been found inside of it. I hope that helps. We appreciate you stopping by to check out the video.

Sorry for the late response, they sit in a channel side by side. On the side with no room and would do that first from the inside on a ladder. It should be pretty easy that way.

I've been doing research on sheds and many sources say that for medium-sized sheds like these a gravel pad is the best for the foundation. My question is if the shed can rest directly on top of the gravel or if I still need a wooden foundation with runners to put the shed on.
@BoredGuyWithACamera3 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you could place this shed on gravel but its going to have to be perfectly level and tampered down extremely well. I don't see a reason of why it would not work. I hope that helps you out a little. Thank you for stopping by and checking out the video.
@Jammaster19722 жыл бұрын
I'm using cinder patio stones just under the foundation walls and rows down the middle with gravel in between. Much cheaper this way than a concrete slab or pressure treated platform. Just have to make sure the patio stones are level to each other.

Hi, I have this shed in the middle of building it. I got the foundation done and everything set up to attach and screw. I’m at the corner wall and wall panels, I’m having the hardest time with the corners, the part where you push in the tabs just won’t push through, I tried the wood trick underneath as well it’s difficult. I even sprayed WD40 on one to try, any tips as a single mom having a hard time building this thing that you would recommend for the wall to make it easier? Also it’s hard to grab the top and push on it because of the groove on top it I think with gloves it should be better? I need to get this done asap, appreciate it thanks
