At around 16:05 you show yourself putting the spring retainer on top of the spring with the two pieces on top of the retainer but never show how you fully attach them to what's inside of the springs so it would help if you had some clarification on that part please
@wtmke1ify7 жыл бұрын
you skipped putting the adjustment poles on.did you have a hard time getting the bolts through the bracket holes.not sure if I'm supposed to use a rubber mallet or not.the instructions say not to but there's no way the bolts will go in without.

At 16:20 you show the installation of the rim. Are we supposed to hand tighten the bolts that hold the springs or tighten them with a wrench all the way?

At 16:15 you skipped the attachment of the 2 black brackets on the back of the rim. I am having a really hard time tightening those 4 screws onto the bolts. Did you have any issue with those?
@philrooq8 жыл бұрын
It's the 4 centerlock nuts. They are really hard to tighten. Is it suppose to be this way?

+Phil Musil can u please explain how u did the springs cuz we are having a very hard time with that
@TehModder20128 жыл бұрын
I am having that same problem as well, found a way????
@USDIY8 жыл бұрын
Even I had a hard time assembling this part. The size of the screw is not big enough to tighten the bolt. After arranging the brackets and rim in place I pressed them hard together and then bolted the nut little bit. Did the same thing for all the four screws and nuts and then finally tightened them. Sorry guys I missed this part in the video.

The step at 12 min where you insert the axle through the wheels and the bottom pole - our axle will not line up with the second hole once the first wheel is on. It's about half an inch off and we can't bend the axle at all to reach it. Did you have problems with that or any tips to get it through the other side of the base?
@USDIY8 жыл бұрын
Yes Caroline we too faced some issue during this step. I forced fit the axle into the two holes. The best way to assemble pole and base is by resting the base on the wall and then match axle and pole holes.

US DIY which bolts did u use to attach the extentions to the back side of the backboard
@namana86207 жыл бұрын
Caroline Kline I had the rod go through the first hole and then when it won't fit into the second hole put the base on the floor and push down on the rod with something from above and hammer in the rod from the end

I can't put the pole in for the wheels. It doesn't seem to line up with the other hole. How are you doing this?

Hello sir at 13:41 the instructions show the u bolt support bracket. Where does that part go. I have the 44 or 45 inch slam it rim but i git it used so it doesn't have instructions.

When we put the rim into the backboard there is a bigger gap between the holes in the backboard then the rim.Is this what usually occurs
