If anyone’s wondering, the story behind this dance is a boy (it may have been a girl but I’m almost positive it was a boy) who was allergic to basically everything, so he had to live inside this plastic suit thing. He was at the hospital a lot, and the doctors found what could be a cure, but they needed something to test it on. Keep in mind that this was in around the late 1980s. So they asked him if he wanted to take the risk to be tested, which could either kill him, or cure him. Unfortunately he died. That being said, Jojo was able to breathe at the end (at least I think) and it was sole amazing acting.

I went in one of these bubbles for multiple minutes as a kid and they are safe (and the girls here said they had scissors just in case). The bubble is filled with air, that's why it's inflated in the first place, and even Jojo said she could breathe. Just don't stay for too long and respect the time limit
