I live in Alaska and have lived here for my whole life. I could get you guys to some pretty sick fishing places, it’s not to hard to get out of state license too. Also, it’s not dark all the time here, in the winter time sunsets around 3:00 and sunrise is 10:30ish. But in the summer we only get one hour of darkness at 1:00 at night! Loved the pod boys 😁😁

Fairbanks resident, while what you said is correct for parts like where you are but Utqiagvik (formerly Barrow) see over 60 days of darkness during winter. And there is 24 hours of daylight for a period of time as well, its called the midnight sun for a reason.

I live In Sitka Alaska, no dog sledding, but it’s an island and lots of fun boating, wildlife, fishing, camping, wwII bunkers, and other islands nearby with tons of old logging roads that people trail ride on. It would be so cool if you even just looked in to it!

I grew up in Central Alaska, where it got dark at 2 PM-4 PM in the winter time in the summertime. It doesn’t go dark until around 12 AM.-3 AM. it honestly isn’t that bad especially if you just fuck around in the winter time all the time

I am currently serving in alaska and work night shifts and i can say the 24 hrs of daylight is awesome but currently its 24 hrs of night and it messes with your circadian rhythm and we have to take vitamin d twice a day to substitute the no sunlight and I can tell yall it definitely messes with you because I can feel myself feeling less productive and muggy all the time but it is so beautiful up here and is worth being stationed here for sure you guys would love the sledding up here and we fish and hunt all the time!!!
