Shiloh's chili is a lot like mine except I use ranch style beans, a jar of salsa, southwest stewed tomatoes redried bean, corn, and diced chilis. Serve it with black olives, shredded cheese, sour cream and fritos.😊

Your oven needs to be recalibrated. In the meantime, you can pick up a oven thermometer that sits on your oven rack. Go by whatever temperature reading is on the inside thermometer. I rent and every oven is off by at least 25° or more. Dear Shilo, please get yourself a bench scraper, for moving food to the pan. Using the blade of a knife, only ruins the knife edge. 😎

I make chili quite often. But I have to say I haven't seen corn in chili. But it is probably good. The corn would give a slight sweet taste to each bite. I'll certainly add some corn to my next batch and try it out.

Yum! Our chili recipes are so similar cept I only use black beans. PS. I desPise beer as is but love cooking & baking with it ... Guinness for Irish stew & lager/pilsner for beer bread etc. Don't get me started on my Love for spicy beer cheese. (Tried so hard in college to learn to 'like' beer ... ich!) ☺ The kids are adorable as usual. 😇😇

My oven is also very hot. You just have to keep turning the temp down until you find the right setting for what your baking. Then I write it down in a cook book because sometimes I forget.😊❤

That was an electric oven pull the knob off. And on the back of the knob there's a little screw. You can turn it to adjust the temperature

Chili looks good! Shiloh your a good cook always putting family first! Funny how everyone fixes it differently, in the South we use Trappey Kidney beans in chili gravy mostly, Rotel tomatoes, rarely use a chili pack. (Justin Wilson recipe) Our kids love Frito chili pie 🤗

The kids are the perfect ending to every video. It looks like you had a dreary day. I use Mexene chili powder in my chili. I laughed when you put corn in your chili. My youngest son loved corn in chili. After I made it that way I love it. I am from the Midwest so I put pasta in my chili. It is the only time I break spaghetti into pieces. I love your easy recipes. Shiloh, I don't blame you a bit for being easy on the deer. I know it's in my head, but, deer are safe around me. Except when they walk out in front of my car!! Oh well. I just lost a headlight the night before last. And the deer jumped the fence like nothing happened!!! I did call it in. I'd hate to think he or she was still alive but hurt somewhere. Conservation needs to take care of their critters.

my dad was a deer and Elk Hunter as well as duck pheasant Quail so I'm used to all of those well anyway when I was younger my favorite though is I believe probably Elk over deer. do you have to admit we never made sausage out of it though, jerky yes it's a yes. chili looks good.❤the family. blessings overflowing. sorry about the caps at the beginning of sentences silly phone doesn't do it.😮

Chili makes a rainy day all better, but if you want to start a potentially heated argument in Texas, just mention putting beans in it😂. Beans and corn are both good for you, though. I love venison! Miss having a hunter in the family with extra. Not gamey at all if it's soaked in milk in the fridge for 24 hours. Plus, it's good, lean protein. Hoping my g- nephew will share a little backstrap this year so i can make my g-g'mother's sauerbraten. It's been decades.

Thank you for cooking on electric stove. All the cooking shows use gas. I grew up with electric and still use electric. Your chili recipe looks great to try on my hubby. Your kids are great.
