It's such a tasty snack too!!! I've tried to make akara before, but it always sink and absorb a lot of oil. Well, now I know to emulsify the bean batter, before frying! This was a very pleasant video, and easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Awesome recipe. another easy way to get your beans cleaned fast is to wash them immediately.. that way it takes less than 30minutes to get it all washed and clean.

Hello dear lady, I hope you’re well. I absolutely loved your video and I was really impressed by your cleanliness, simplicity and the skilful way in all of your steps. In Sudan, we also make this! The only difference is that we use soaked Tamarind juice instead of water to blend with the beans. It adds a nice earthy sourness to the final result. Keep up the wonderful work.

When I was young my mom will always tell me "when you back from school make sure you the black eye beans I hated to wash it but love to eat it when it's ready. I will grumble "why dont buy the washed one already".Then I remember she will use but the mortar and pistol to whisk the beans 🤣... Wao it very light that means it won’t absorb oil, that’s nice it will work for me because I don’t like too much oil stuff
