Whenever tomatoes gets too much water they will burst like that, sometime you should pick them before they ripe on the tree and let they ripe inside, especially if is rainy season.

Hey Stephens, the reason why It is cracked is when the rain falls and the tomatoes are ready to ripe they to get bigger, and they burst, so is best to pick them when they now start turning ripe.

Those tomatoes start splitting if they are allowed to fully ripen on the vine and the soil is moist. They are still edible but to prevent this, pick them as it turn color but leave the stem branch on fruit.
