and most important. after the install, adjust the brakes.!!!! the bottom bracket for leaf springs is where the brakes pull from. other than that 23 inch tires work great and with 10 psi in front and 15 psi in rear the ride is quite nice.

Installing on a 2014 Precedent and the shocks and tie rods won't reach to hook up???? It,s like the lift won't go high enough to reach??????
@GolfCartInstructions Жыл бұрын
Place a jack under the lower a-arm to help it reach high enough so you can connect the components.

I have a 2005 precedent I did the lift kit correctly but the tie rod ends are to short to get 1/8th tow in there is only 1/2 Inch or less threaded into both the tie rod ends and yes I put the spacers in behind the steer rack what do I need to do find longer tie rod/ball joint ends ?
@GolfCartInstructions3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ken, try moving the camber in. This should give you more toe adjustment.

I have been trying to track down if anything is loose on my front end. I have the RHOX BMF A-ARM Lift kit and one area that was loose is the bushing that connects the end of the leaf spring to the lower a arm. Is that supposed to be tight when there is no weight on the front end?
@GolfCartInstructions3 жыл бұрын
There shouldn't be signs of wear on the bushing. This area shouldn't be loose either way. A good way to check to see what is loose on the front end is to pull the cart up next to a curb. The front wheel should be parallel to the curb. Place something between the curb and the wheel to protect the wheel. Have one person turn the steering wheel while you watch the front end. If something is loose, you should be able to see it move this way.

I previously had a Rhox 4" lift installed on 2018 Precedent and had all kinds of problems with brakes. Ultimately had to add longer brake cables. Was that a "one off" or do you need to be ready with longer cables for the 6" lift? I have a 2019 Onward that I'm getting ready to upfit.
@GolfCartInstructions4 жыл бұрын
When the rear leaf spring is installed, the brake cable is usually able to be clipped back into place on the front shackle. In instances where it is too tight, we won't install it back into the clip on the shackle. We will support it with heavy duty wire ties. This is what most dealers do vs. buying a longer cable. Some still prefer the clip so they will get the longer cable.

We will see it happen every so often. Most of the time it works with the factory cable.

When adjusting the camber do both sides need to match. So if the drivers side is in the 3rd hole does the passenger side need to be in the 3rd as well? Been having some trouble on the alignment in the front.
@GolfCartInstructions6 жыл бұрын
It isn't ideal but we have seen it done before, usually when a frame is not square or something else is off in the front end.
@302candyboy6 жыл бұрын
@@GolfCartInstructions thanks yea I went back and checked the frame and it's off a bit. Thanks for the info kit looks great.

will this work with the heavy duty leaf spring kit? if so do i install them on top of the axle also?
@GolfCartInstructions6 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike. Yes, the kit will work with heavy duty leaf springs and you are correct about the placement. They will also be installed on top of the axle.
