I do break tests on occasion for LiftAll on their large round slings that often max out our 1.2 million pound testing machine.

I've been a wire rope, and chain sling inspector for over 20 years and two different inspectors will always have a different idea of what is legal and what constitutes removal from service criteria. Asking someone to judge what a 20% reduction in workload is is a recipe for disaster in my opinion!
