12:52 If you really do struggle with overwhelming gratitude then why don't you take the humble path of real responsibility, self sacrifice. Like get married, be monogamous and raise some kids. I say this with love, despite the snappiness. At least I hope to. I get annoyed with you (and Aubrey Marcus by the way) because I feel like for how much wisdom you speak, you never pick up your share of the load and just carry it.

@@ourblessedtribe9284just because you’re a beta male with no options doesn’t mean a man of high value like him should follow your dogma. Besides, have you not seen the dating pool in the world right now, these women are way too gassed up and out of control and other high value older men are us younger middle age men to not marry. The rate of divorce is over 50%, men lose custody of their children 80% of the time in custody court and pay alimony 95% of the time… yeah there’s no reason to get married. As far as children other millionaires like myself are opting to use surrogate mothers with heavy contracts, pay them after our newborn has arrived and then they leave, meaning no child support, no cheating woman taking half my money/assets and not paying alimony until she dies while she’s getting bent over backwards in the house that used to be mine. Older men like you got screwed and now you want us to go through your same bullshit, hell no, go fuck yourself.

Being ex military that run followed by that rock is the type of things I do to remind myself who I am. Not a complete civilian now as im a firefighter. But I had serious mental struggles adjusting to life outside the military… that is Until I started putting myself through some regular suffering again. It grounds you like nothing else. Be it rare but Sometimes that voice in your head wins and you tap out. But every single time I’ve let that voice win I’ve returned the next day and doubled whatever broke me the day before. Brother I loved seeing you dig deep with that rock! That was epic. You crushed it 💪 im going to find me a f***in rock of my own

Perform without a purpose is an incredible saying. My wife sometimes struggles to grasp why I run 50-60 mile weeks even when I have no marathon to train for. My running journey has so little to do with running. It’s an outlet for discipline. I want my son to see the type of things that are possible when you put in effort and discipline. I starting running 3 years ago and had no experience before that. My first half marathon I ran in 2 and a half hours. In October, I ran a marathon in 2:56. I have no race currently scheduled, but rain, snow, or shine, we get our 7-8 miles in daily. Much respect to Cam and Chris. Thanks for this episode. Stay grinding

These videos are FANTASTIC. Thank you so much for these, Mr Hanes. I feel a kinship with the likes of you and Chris that I'm unsure I have with anyone else I know in the 'real' world. The depth of the conversations, the quest for self knowledge and self-improvement, the humility-it all translates so beautifully into these videos. And although we've never met (and potentially never will), I'm grateful to have you all in my life. You, Chris, Rogan, Goggins, Jocko, Peterson and others have all had a deep, positive impact on my life (and on the lives of countless others), and so I cannot thank you enough. Keep hammering, brother. And God bless you all 🙏🏽🔥💪🏽
@BroadHeadedAK Жыл бұрын
I’ve been listening to Rogan, Jocko, Goggins and the former Keep Hammering podcast for years, but the Keep Hammering Collective has not only surpassed Cameron Hanes original podcast, it is quickly surpassing all other inspirational podcasts. Not in the way some people might think of as your stereotypical inspiration, but in the way that this podcast tells the story of how regular people decided to dedicate themselves to something and then give it their all. Through that they have achieved a level of success that so few people achieve, because they lack whatever that drive and discipline requires to make it happen. These stories show a real path and that you don’t have to be born into money or status or even have unnatural talent to become great. It’s a choice that you make to overcome adversity and the mental obstacles that hold us back. What I love most about this podcast is that so far, every guest has incorporated FAITH into the equation as to how they have found the strength and the ability to persevere and overcome everything life has thrown at them. It’s not common to hear some of the most successful people out there speak publicly about the role their faith has played in shaping their success. A very powerful podcast I’d recommend to anyone who wants to see real life examples of how you can change your life from ordinary to uncommon through your own actions and not live your life in default mode. This podcast has inspired me to work harder and longer even when it’s cold and wet out. My body wants to give up or clock out early, but my mind is stronger when I am reminded of what uncommon looks and feels like. That’s what this podcast is, Uncommon. Thank you Cameron Hanes and all of your guests for sharing your stories and for being examples of how we can achieve what it is we want most in this life. Buster Hanson
