Omron VFs shut down as soon as you press a single button on it, even if the button doesn't do anything. You have to turn of the lift and wait 20 seconds for the Omron's lights to go out then turn it back on to make it work again.

It is great that you are interested, but there are certain safety aspects of lift surfing that are not shown in my videos. To surf a lift safely you need to learn about it and lifts in general and be very safety conscious. I can never advise anyone to surf a lift from watching my videos.

I have been on top over 1000 lifts now. I can't see that you could have your head chopped of by the lift. The only way that could happen is if the lift was going up at full speed and someone was leaning over the edge where the counterweight it.
