Fun fact: Gary Rydstrom, the writer/director of this short, is a very well respected sound designer, going back to the Terminator 2 days. The multitude of switches is meant to evoke what a sound mixing console looks like to the uninitiated.

I saw this short film in a movie theater playing ratatouille. Because the human man looked so much like linguini from the movie I thought that the alien abduction was the reasons his hair controlled his body as shown in the film when he and remmy the rat are cooking.
