I love your Ranger ! We’re on our 4th. We haven’t lifted our 2011 4X4 super cab with a 4.0 V6 auto trans, but I did install adjustable air shocks, (as we haul a lot of gravel, too soil, etc). Yes our Ranger XLT is a work truck for around our property and my favorite fishing hole. I added a K&N intake and a 3”FlowMaster exhaust (my mpg went from 19mpg to 23mpg on the freeway with the cruise set on 75mph). I had it 2 toned (silver over red metallic). It’s a sweet pickup for what we need. It’s almost 12 years old and only has 35K miles.

Nice truck 👍Ford Rangers are bulletproof little trucks. My dad and I had a '98 with 200k+ miles on it that refused to die no matter how abused it was. What killed it was that it was manual and someone that quote "could drive a stick" borrowed it for a week and trashed the tranny/U-joints. Got it patched up but it never did run as smooth after that

Very nice Ranger ! Any issues with your timing chain? Trying to figure out what year and what makes these chains 3 + break besides the bad plastic guides and cassettes. I think they should be recalled from what I am learning

Andrew Lapping never had issues after I got it. Not sure about before as I got it at 189,000 miles. Engine is currently shot so bye bye Ranger

Must be a 2 wheel drive if that's lifted , the 4 wheel drive is pretty much this height stock . The Ranger Edge is the same ride height as the 4 wheel drive and has the same torsion bar suspension . But all the other 2 wheel drive Ranger's are lower and have coil springs .

It's 2wd and the lift is a spindle lift, the spindle lift pushes the front tire out I think maybe a 1/2" or maybe a little more. Tires are 32x11.5

terrell larue Bought the lift kit from Amazon. It's a 4" spindle with 2" shackles. Cost about $300 dollars. After this I lifted it another 3"
