Nice build. Pretty capable mild off-roader.

I am doing something similar with my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. 1.8inch lift on Monday. 225/75r16 Yokohama Geolandar G015 A/T or TOYO OpenCountry3 A/T will replace OEM's.
@makeeveryday15453 жыл бұрын
It does ok. A stock Rogue does about the same, but the extra ground clearance definitely helps to get up fire roads and mild trails which is all I wanted to do with it.

@@makeeveryday1545 same here. I do not need a rock crawler.

is this kit made for the 2014 select model? basically a first gen rogue in 2014
@makeeveryday1545 Жыл бұрын
As far as I know, yes. 2014 and up Rogues.

Hello I am about to decide in fitting this into my 2015 T32 AWD X-Trail, may I ask if you have replaced your stock shocks/coil springs?
@makeeveryday15454 жыл бұрын
Springs and struts/shocks are stock.

WOW, so cool. I have a 2016 Rogue LS. I'm afraid to put a lift kit because of the panoramic moonroof might break 😬
@aadarshaadhikari37843 жыл бұрын
How?
@customer75752 жыл бұрын
From supposed stress on the body. The moonroof might explode because of contamination in the glass during manufacturing process. My moonroof actually exploded the other day after 13 years. Nissan’s are known for it actually.

@@customer7575 I have a 2017 rogue so far no problems with my moonroof, but I have heard stories

Do you notice the rear shock topping out after installing the lift when hitting bumps fast ?
@makeeveryday15453 жыл бұрын
No. I've driven it for nearly a year and haven't had any issues. No noise, or strange behavior, or poor handling. It's just made the Rogue more fun to drive.

Is this kit only for awd's
@makeeveryday15453 жыл бұрын
No. It will work on FWD as well. Links added to description.

Cool video...which lift and which rims?
@makeeveryday15453 жыл бұрын
It's a Redilift 2 inch kit and KMC rims. I'll put links in the description.
they recomend 245/65-17 with a rim size of 17-8 hopefully that's helpful
@makeeveryday15453 жыл бұрын
245/65/17 are what I ran. No rubbing or problems at all.

Good video. How does it ride now tho? Can you tell a difference in gas mileage?

Mpg went down a few but nothing drastic. Its only 2 inches. Ride feels the same to me.

The camera is deceptive. This is a very easy course, but I've tried to take FWD cars on these hills and you can't crawl them up. You need lots of momentum, and one of the hills in particular you can't get up safely. But any AWD CUV/SUV should be able to do this run on stock tires. The lift and tires just make it easier.
