I watched a guy bring up a boat that size or bigger, with an air compressor and contractor trash bags. When he got the gunnels above the water, by stuffing the bags under the floors he simply pumped out the water. I thought it was amazing.

well did the boat have a hole in the side or something , how did it sink. what was the cost of raising it up. Did it stay afloat after being raised . How much to fix the boat up to get it operational again. many many questions?????
@MCLStMaryDet6 жыл бұрын
It had several holes in the bottom previous owner drilled and it was taking on water slowly until it could be repaired in dry dock but someone unplugged the sump pump. The owner was gone for a few days. Total cost was around $15,000. It stayed afloat ever since and it was repaired properly shortly after.I don't know rebuild cost. Thanks for watching. Hey woodysheds the owner of the boat Purchased it up north and then drove it down to Louisiana and had it tied up at the dock the boat had small leaks and for some reason the electricity was kicked off the pump stopped working and it came back the next day and it was on bottom
@thirdwave88115 жыл бұрын
This is the story of literally thousands of boats. Bottom line, if your boat is leaking you better haul it and repair it. It cost the owner a LOT more to have to crane that thing up and then pump the water out. And now the engines are trash...

What was the cause of sinking?? There is only 1 reason for sinking a boat at dock: gross negligence.
@wheeljobdiving9 жыл бұрын
The previous owner for some reason drilled many small holes in the bottom the new owner pluged The holes for transportation then brought it to the dock for storage and some of the plugs started to leak and the electricity was cut off no one knows who did it. (at least this is what I was told I'm just a salvage Diver not a ship surveyor.)

A lot of people would like that boat and to see it restored because some of the boats that size are don't have a nice open floor plan like that one seems to have a a video would be great of it getting put back together. I looked at some boats 250K plus and they had no room in em. Yet some of the big less expensive boats with big open spaces have like crappy little V6 gas motors in em with no guts.
