What's strange is I did the OEM acdelco springs with the 2 inch lift in the rear with HD moog rear shocks. And the rebound of the HD shocks would max out (pulling itself apart) when rebounding upwards from the ground. We drilled new holes and relocated the shocks 2 inches upwards at the bottom. And fixed. But I javbt seen anyone else with this issue. Strange..

@TheTanNetwork lift meister 3" lift, a lot of people use the c25r sky jackets in the rear or Yukon springs in the rear moog 81104s in the front or stiffer but going stiffer in the front will damper flex and rides like cap unless weight has been added ie mdb fabrications bumpers and armor. HD blisteins struts in the front and blisteins 5500 if I'm correct shocks in the rear. also can do body lift suspension lift 1.5 spacers or adapters could run 33s without cutting or minor cutting. also by flipping ucas front and rear you will gain a better drop angle. very capable rig if done properly but with the 8" rear end and odd front diff hardly any lockers available besides the g80. a lot swap the 9.5 ss rear end and ss front diff, but run the lift and do springs and flip ucas HD struts and rear shocks you'll be good to go very awesome rig. I'm doing the performance side before I install what I have for my tb.

So you use factory shock and spring in front and you just added a 3inch spacer? For the back you used Tahoe springs and what about the shocks? What Tahoe model springs you used? Thank you very much it looks really nice!

You have to remove the top of the of the strut and replace it with the spacer. You will need a spring compressor.

Been a year since your mod, i own a 02 4wd and I'm thinking on a 2.5 or 3.00 inch lift, i was wondering if you had any issues with the cv shafts getting stretched too much to the extent of breaking on you? Any info would be greatly appreciated. BTW you gotta post up any updates on any of your rigs, looking good 👌👌

FlameCranium i haven't had any problems so far. I don't know how it would have a affect on the transmission if you keep the same size tires on. The only thing I can see it hurting in the long run is the rear U-joints and front cv shafts, but that's always a con with a lift. It's worth the ground clearance in my opinion.
