Three of my party members dying as part 2 started kicking in, and yet my boy Alphonse came through with the clutch throughout the entire second half and saved the day. I essentially pulled an "anime protagonist when the opening starts playing" with him, and I'm still feeling the adrenaline rush. God, I love this game.

One of the best themes in the game and still certainly a fitting theme for the Apostles. One question I have is if the Loki in the story is the same Loki from Heroes (unlikely, but it would be crazy)?

This is an entirely different Loki and not feh Loki. Feh has nothing to do with dragalia lost besides the collabs it had. This Loki is its own thing

Okay, so I stopped playing some time after the P5 Scramble event. WHY ARE WE FIGHTING SATAN? well, I mean it was inevitable because Cygames, but still?

Spoilers (Obviously): Origa (The Auspex of North Gratsea ) and Basilius (The guy on the thumbnail and leader of the Apostles) wanted to revive Satan because there is a new threat that is coming in the form of a mysterious Dragon simply called “The Progenitor.” The Progenitor wants the future to literally be set in stone, and to take away human’s ability to make choices. The Progenitor is said to be extremely powerful and near invincible, with only two beings capable of defeating him, those being Bahamut and Satan. There are issues with summoning Bahamut that I won’t go into here for the sake of time, which is why Satan is the only option. Long story short, Basilius and some cultists go on a murder spree, which revives various demons and fallen angels as Satan’s revival gets closer. One rule of this resurrection, however, is that Satan needs someone to act as his vessel in order for them to control his power. Origa is the one who becomes the vessel. However, little did Origa and Basilius know, Satan’s power cannot be controlled, which is why Satan goes on to commit genocide and mass destruction of property. That is why he must be stopped, leading to the events of this fight. I hope that answers your question.
