My gosh. Suzuka's vocals are as beautiful here as I have ever heard (and I have heard every LIVE song/performance of Babymetal). This is now my favorite performance of Light and Darkness. The girls are beautiful here and the choreography is on point.

For me L&D is another great pop rock ballad with beautiful SuMetal vocals piercing into our hearts. Love the J-pop sound from 2000 and the nostalgic vibes mixed with the edm sound. Here's some info about this song: _One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is "LIGHT AND DARKNESS" and this 4th pre-release digital single “Light and Darkness” centers around this theme. Because light exists, darkness also exists._ _And because darkness is present, there is also a world that shines._ _During the night when light and darkness intersect, what we seek after poisoned with darkness awaits a world filled with strong love. As the door opens, is it hope or despair that awaits us? The song expresses the duality in everything and the way things are perceived and interpreted differ depending on each person’s point of view._ This was a world premiere at BabyMetal Returns The Other One - Makuhari Messe 2023 setlist, along with "THE LEGEND". Later on during live concerts at BabyMetal Begins TOO - PIA Arena MM Yokohama (April 1st - Fox Day and 2nd) they play this song for the third time during the Clear Night (which is the version you just saw and the only three times they performed) and also announced a new member, finally MomoMetal become official, and she's no longer an avenger, we were all happy for her.🍑❤ Thanks for sharing this. Nice reaction, thanks! Kitsunes are a little busy (and some in shock) today with the stream of Legend-MM hehe... Su-metal commented on this one that it was the most vocally demanding song from The Other ONE album. 🤘🦊

Nice reaction. The instruments are a bit more prominent in this live version than they were in the studio recording (this is a good thing) and they made a couple of small timing changes, like that brief silence, that I really like in the live performances.

I like how live or concert versions are slightly different because it's at a different setting/environment. I'm sure the fans had a blast watching them in person~!

Great reaction and great song! I feel the music was a but gloomier in this song, but Su’s vocals were hopeful, which plays into the song’s meaning and title. Love this one!! 🤘🦊

As you delve more and more into BabyMetal, you might like to ck-out a couple of You Tube channels that do deep dives into them. First is Andrew Hartely's (Professor BabyMetal) channel where he goes into their history (Sakura Gaquin), looks at their costumes thru the years, analyses their song meanings and much more. He is also a big Atarashii Gakko fan, The very popular Japnese dance unit that are all over the net these days. Secondly, is the BabyMetal Podcast.
