@@Electric4Pie You're right, but he saw 2 zeds at the end, selling the annie was 12 extra gold to seek the third zed, or even before that he could have gone for it. The main problem with annie is that the light buff doesn't go to tibbers.

Andrés Guilarte selling annie would give him 6 gold, because when you sell an upgraded unit it would give you the initial cost of one of them then the others would give you one gold back, so a lvl 2 5 cost unit would give you 7 gold on so on.

Lights actually go well with lunar. 6 lights 2 lunar 2 mystic 2 warden. Lights are built for long fights and so is lunar. They complement each other with the atk speed and crits. Either go carry vayne/soraka/yorick and you're good to go

You could have gone 9 lights if you kept the vayne or placed aatrox in then sell the annie and get a master yi then roll for a light lux then find a zed or another annie that would be 9 light,2 mystic,3 summoner and avatar and you need level 9 to do all of that. Jax already had the light trait, so the game is designed to be stupid-proof by not allowing a unit to have a 'double trait'. The same thing would happen if you handed Jax a Black Cleaver, or Braum a frozen mallet.

If you saw and/or know what that item he puts on Azir does, you would know why Azir is his carry. In the case that you dont; The item he put on Azir gives Azir the 'Light' trait which allows him to benefit from the light bonuses. Azir normally only has the Desert and Summoner traits and is most often played on Desert/Blademaster teams. The reason this occurs is due to Azir's ability. Unlike all of the other summoners, Azir can summon his sand soldiers anywhere on the battlefield. The only other summoner with a similar ability is Zyra, but she can only summon them on the edges of the map. Back on topic, Azir's soldiers attack when he attacks. This means the more Azir attacks, the more damage his soldiers deal. Thus why he sees play on Blademaster comps due to their trait granting them a chance to immediately basic attack again. Toast decided that he would use the Light trait to simply give Azir the attack speed to help carry. Being able to summon a sand soldier onto the back line and immediately delete them is a valuable tool to have, and by the time the back line is dead Azir should have enough attack speed to simply railroad his way through any remaining front line troops. Vayne isn't bad in any way, but she is limited due to the fact that she, like all other units, attack the closest unit to them. Azir doesn't suffer from this thanks to his ability. _That's_ why he's the main carry.

Summoners buff is worthless. Tibbers has a sh*t ton of HP, he doesn't need the buff. Zyra's plants don't have HP, they don't get the buff. Azir's sand minions too... Are summoners just a Joke to you, riot? D: Yorick minions have like 200hp, whoop whoop they get like 60 hp buff... Umm, Useless. Malz minions... worse than Yoricks. Literally summon them as target distractions, at least Yorick's do damage. Like, the only Good summoner for the buff is Zed, because a hyper carry with more HP is always nice. Especially when you have two of them. Now 3 of them. 4. They all have redemption. Its raining Zed.
