Hearing and also feeling those desolated yet comforting sounds make me remember 8 long days and nights that I spent completly by myself in woods far away from my home. I had only lighter with myself back then, but starting a fire makes everything better: safer, warmer. The place was very dark and cold in the nights althought it was end of the summer. The reasons I left my home are only mine, it was 2 years ago. It may seem scary even horrific, but to be honest I go back in time with my imagination almost every single day to this adventure when I had to eat roots of some unkown weeds to gain water. I ate many different plants not knowing will they hurt me, obviously they didn't... Yes... But I must say those sounds are really making me feel this calm but cold, dark nights when I was waiting for the dawn, but also with whole my being enjoing the meditative state of silence and solitude. Thank you IronCthulhuApocalypse for this ambiance.

I’m on about month 9 of falling asleep to ICA’s music every night I love it. Only one person I know even knows who they are and he’s a fellow fanatic. ICA’s the pure real ambient. Yeah some folks a be loves them some ambient music stuff like on Windam Hill. You know, John Tesh, Robert Rich. Yeah, same track just remixed a bit. Really, if I had the set up I wanted, I'd be doing a 24/7 radio show which just cycled through my 800+ (and counting) tracks, along with remixed versions, then let people isolate themed chunks when they wanted. But since I can't do that, I make these mixes which, yes, will repeat tracks either directly or with slight variations.

I explored the dark and there is nothing to fear. So calm, so peaceful... besides my heart stopped beating I don't have anything to complain about the darkness. I confess that in the beginning the fear was engulfing my chest with a shocking, disturbingly cold, agonizing and impactful fear, but after everything passes out... I am... Sort of... alive and well, should I say? An exorcist with a horrifying face, jagged tooths, big and purged eyes with a thin red iris, a twisted body... I do not fear him. He looks at me trying to kill me? Who's tolding that to you?! Do you have perspective?! Why should a sorry fool like him do that? Vengeance? Sadism? Psicopath? No. None of those things are true. After he founds me and starts to slice me... that was the most terrifying thing on my life, just a humble man trying to stay on the Diseased Sunlight, as my father told me to do. Also he told me to always stay calm, and then after some time both him and my mother died to the Visceral Darkness, as they called on this world. I get acostumetad, become bloodless, no more feel pain from his cuts. After some time I look deeply to his disturbingly eyes and I said: Why don't you just stop? And then... he really stops indeed, intrigued on how I keep calm during this whole time. Finally speaks with his twisted and distoned voice. Exorcist: How do you keep sane? Me: And how do you? Exorcist: This doesn't matter! Me: And do you think that anything matters? What I only see is you wasting your, and my time, doing this thing. Exorcist: B-but I have to do this! You need to suffer! Me: Who said that? Exorcist: I SAID THAT! Me: Dude, my blood was gone a long time ago, I feel nothing. And even if I did feel pain you are still wasting your time. Exorcist: SHUT-UP! I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT SPEAKS HERE. Me: Yeah... you can cut my tongue or my throat, I'm tied in this tree. How long are you doing this with people? Exorcist: I DON'T KNOW, AS LONG AS THEY DESERVE IT I DON'T MIND TO SPEND MY WHOLE LIFE ON THIS! Me: Man, I don't know you and whonever did anything to you. Don't you see that you are wasting your time with me? Why don't you just try to remember who did "this" thing to you and solve that problem? Exorcist: BECAUSE... Because... I DON'T HAVE A PLAN RIGHT NOW! Me: Let me understand. You spent your WHOLE LIFE torturing people but don't even think about making a plan? AND YOU ARE UNDEAD WHIT ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD! Exorcist: Stop... STOP TALKING WITH ME! And he slaped my face hard. Me: Man... why you still making the same mistake as you do right now? He just stopped and sticks his knife in a tree and curls on the ground a bit. Exorcist: SHUT-... Shut... I... Me: Can you untie me please? I just want to leave. He gets up, grab his knife and cut the ropes, releasing me. Exorcist: But what... what about me?! Me: I don't know man, you pissed me off holding and torturing me this whole time. Exorcist: I will... DO IT AGAIN NOW! As soon as I saw he running to me I broke a stick from a tree at my side and pierces his rotten chest. The stick was long enough to hold him far away from me and I'm strangely more strong than before. Me: You are doing it again... how many times you couldn't hold yourself? When you will learn that it's everything over? Exorcist: And what I will do next? I asked myself... every time... if everything I did worth something. Did it worth? Me: Man, have you realized that you are free to do anything you want? You decided to lock yourself on this madness and waste your time until now. About everything you hated on what someone did to you, I thin you need to hate yourself. Rather to have suffered something in the past but get freedom afterwards than lock yourself into a viscious cycle of madness and hatred. Exorcist: Hate... myself? But they spit on my face when I was alive, kill my parents and enslaved me until death. Why should I hate myself? Me: You tortured a dozens or a hudreds of people for a long time. The people that have been through it have the same, if not worse, kind of hate you have about the people who did it to you. Suddenly he was grabbed and pulled backwards by four undeads, probably layed on the ground after being tortured by him. In a short while he was surrounded by at least dozens of people, being sliced, broken, bited and whatever else torture process he did to they. Exorcist: HELP!... HEEEEEELP! Me: You are a sorry fool. You will be for a long time locked on your own deeds as you did before. You locked yourself, didn''t solve anything about who did those things to you and also enrages others on the process, what a shame. After a long walk I'm still listening the loud crunches and slices on him, maybe he turned part of the soil as a disgusting meatmass, but he deserved it. Now some of them that realized they freedom and leave that mess ended up meeting me, we chat together and play some games with dead tree barks with some symbols. I slice some sorry fools like the Exorcist one that don't realize his freedom and remove it from others, in tiny pieces and bury the pieces below ground, but sometime the pieces will join together and will wake from his grave as the Visceral Darkness did this to me and the others, the Curse of Immortality. Today after a thousand years I am a lord of a castel in the middle of the Rottenmeat Swamp. Isn't the best of the best place but still good. The streets are well builded with some cars. We now discovered that the Visceral Darkness turned our soul in a dark hole that we can extract a bit of power to cast Dead's Magic, or Visceral Arts, there are several names to this today. The Darkwood Academy is a good school, but I think I will learn in another school closer to home... The Diseased Sunlight also have some interesting power, but the studies are too new to put in use. More research can bring us results. The Dead's Magic can cast from black orbs that seek foes and explodes in several blades to some temporary creatures, based on the creativity, Visceral Pool and experience of his caster, I"m still learning to cast the Abyssal Fiend that summons for a short while thousands of arms and slice everything in a radius of hundreds of meters, but still needs more pratice to do it right. --The Dark Lord Pursuer of Exorcists. If you want me to make a book, seriously, say in the comments. I really enjoy this, would be nice to create a book!

Drenthis looked at the clearing in the middle of the forest that seemed to pulsate with light. I must not get closer but I feel a strong urge to step into the light ray. He got to the edge of the clearing and put his hand out to feel the ray of light. The light immediately hurt like someone was holding a magnifying glass to a leaf. Ahhh! Withdrawing his hand he looked at his digits and he saw they were charred. Snakes and flying bats, that hurt hurt like the plague it did! Running away from the light he vowed never again to be hurt like that.

Hey ICA, this might be a stupid question, but I was curious if you’d answer. I have your mixes on a lot at night. How do you go about creating 10hr tracks? Are they a mix of different tracks you’ve made, loops, or do actually write out a 10hrs to just one ambient track? I’m naive about it all but it’s just always something I wonder when listening. Greatly enjoy them !

I have probably over 800 tracks finished as of now. Maybe more. I just layer some, or do a little re-mixing, then make an hour chunk. Then I repeat that hour 10 times. Very easy. Glad you like the mix!

This isn't right, this forest is not right. It's so dark, I can barely see. When I saw light, my body screamed DANGER at me and forced me to run. I am lost, I cannot find exit from this place.
