You are so right. This time of year is very hard when loved ones are not here with us. 😒

December 25th took on a whole new significance when my brother passed away on Christmas morning last year a month before he was to turn 52. I wasn't close to him but I think it's a challenging time for his family & mother & hopefully a little less with each passing year. I'm developing the habit of always drinking in all the little [or big] blessings that surround me each & every moment & occasionally saying hello to the trees I pass every day or feeling the texture of a colourful flower, knowing that despite appearances, every extra day of life is a bonus blessing.

I lost my dad on Boxing Day, 15 years ago. I was 29 and dad was 49. It has taken a long time to find the light again in Christmas. I focus on my children and make the best memories I can, filled with fun and laughter. I keep it simple, I make crafts and gifts and really focus on the light. God bless you all ❤

I love darkness, I love being outside in the dark. The trees are so beautiful. You can see the sky trough their branches. It is very peaceful in the dark. Is wish december to last way longer because I enjoy it so much, there is so much more to be felt, I wish there was more time. No family or so to celebrate with then my child, no family to contact, that would not be wise, but that's no problem. I love December. I love the lights, I love "Christmas angels", the atmosphere is sensible, not seeable to me, they have to exist. And we have the trees and the animals and the sky and the earth, and the stars. Always. I wish you would feel all this richness too and you have peace and feel the beauty of this month. Thank you for your beautiful book "Angels in my hair", I read it a year ago. I loved to read about your youth and all experiences, must have been very hard so many couldn't understand you, treated you not right, very courageous to come here this way✨💫 May your path be lighter.
