I miss the 90s so much. There was something so chaotic but brilliant about a lot of shows back then. Right up to the early 00s when everything became way too "perfect" and well produced. Which doesn't sound like negative things at all😅but it also means you lose a lot of the spontaneity that comes with chaos.

Channel 4 really messed up in axing Light Lunch. I hadn't realised it was only on air for less than a year, it seemed like longer. It says something, that they immediately rerun old episodes to fill the slot. They should not have tried to transfer the success to teatime, although I liked Late Lunch just as much. But they should have just left it where it was, it was one of a kind and somebody at Channel 4 obviously failed to see how valuable it was becoming. For such a short run, it is one of the most memorable shows of the decade.

Do you have other episodes of Light Lunch, I was in the audience in July 97 but I can't remember what date, only that Edwina Curry was one of the guests
