Working out in Beat Saber, for me at least, is all about over exaggerating your movements and "dancing" with the beat. You really start to feel the rhythm, and the workout becomes so natural and effortless that you don't realize you're working out. 30 mins later I'm panting, sweating, and just burned 500 calories. Just like WII Bowling, you can flick your wrist, or swing your arm. How the user interacts with the interface will directly influence your efficiency and effectiveness.

Yeah, it's a more effective workout if you try to go for max score, because that means doing big full arm swings to try to get >100 points per cut. If you're hitting most of the notes and only getting a B grade you're not working hard enough.

It's called Sprint Vector it's a fun experience and is great exercise. It is very tiring i can't play it more than a hour and a half at a time. It's soooo tiring. But i think you'll enjoy it. Keep it up!

1st step of working out/burning calories is doing what u think is fun.. If you think that going to gym is fun, then proceed.. If you think that jogging is fun, then go for it.. If cleaning the house is a joy for, then why not... So for some people, beat saber is the thing.. Bcos, if we don't find the excitement, trust me.. It won't even last..

How much did you slow the first song down? I do that a lot and it’s wayyyyyy faster, so obviously it’s slowed down.

I myself am using VR as a workout routine now (Super introvert here so no gym, super allergic to plants, trees, and even grass :/ so no outside running for me). I do 25-30 minutes (Active Song Time) of Beat Saber and that gets my arms really burning. Then take a break for 10-15 (Gets really sweaty in the headset). Afterwards I go for a run in Freedom Locomotion VR (You can set up COAT movement so you actually walk/jog/run in place). I do about 4-5 minutes of light jogging in the city level, then do a 5-7 minute full run on the mountain level and finally a 5-10 minute cool down walk on the bridge level. It really works the legs really well. Another small 5-10 minute break and finish up with some regular crunches for the midsection and then off to the shower.

Explain the thing with benefit through being born tall I'm almost 2m tall and if i miss anything it's these dang up-slashes... then i always feel like i have to adjust settings and after that everything is screwed so i go back... so i think i could use a benefit of being tall ^^

The cool thing with this game is that after some hours of gameplay on expert, your brain will begin to register the third or fourth next cube when you are hitting the one in front of you. This gives you a wonderful flow

Chibiaiko 1987 Actually, there is a fan mod that let's you import stepmania (ddr on PC) maps into it. You can also create your own maps and put them into the game using the mod and the community editor they made for the mod.

Look into how scoring works for cutting boxes. Max is 110 points. 70 points are for starting a cut from 90 deg angle another 30 for follow through 60 deg and 10 are for how close to center of box you cut. So bigger swing is more points.
