Hi, I am new to your channel, I have just subscribed, nice video and good explanation! Nonetheless I have some questions. First, do you let the jig tap / touch the bottom? Second, are you not afraid of getting snagged because of the treble hook?

Thanks comment. It's my little experience. The fish hunt down the bait and eat it. Surface or bottom. Jerk as soon as the lure touches the bottom. If you are late, it will be easier to lose the lure. The reason for attaching the tail hook is when the activity of the fish is low. If the activity is low, the suction power will be small and the hooking rate will decrease. You don't have to attach it.

Good to see the horror is over and you got your grove back Rocky always feels weird fishing with light lines over heavy fishing for me not that it happens much lol a perfect day glass out tide and a nice size trev catch to start the day off with release for another day get in fishing weather due to change this week rain and winds may bring in something big for you soon

Yes. If the fish is reluctant, it may prey on it from behind. I think it is also effective when the suction power is weak.
