The whole SL thing is dead so please bury it. Here is the thing, People purchase pedal assist for the assist so any pedal assist bike that runs out of power is useless because it cant perform its function, why anyone would purchase a low power low range SL bike is beyond me.

I understand your point but no one has made an electric enduro bike that weighs under 20 kilos with a full power motor. Specialized manage to get to 22kg with their Gen 3 Levo. DJI's AMflow bike is not an enduro bike.

i would disagree, the question is how long the bikes assist, if you go out for a 2h-3h ride and you become the support you expect/need such abike could be perfect. But clear if you search like most men in that segment: +85kg not really trained, expect +2000hm uplift your complety wrong here. Ebikes i think it's most imimportant thant you know what you wanna do with the bike. As example my daugther who is 55kg she don't need a 800wh 90nm motor... she will fly you away whth this tiny engine

@@alexbiketester levo 2020 sworks is 20.9kg with the 700wh so in a kind still the benchmark. I personally think something what us the market currently not provides it's "low power engine x medium to high capacity battery" because all the touring guys serach about the assisent of a bosch SX with 600-800wh ina geometry of a "semi-enduro-frame"

@@winters3 The whole weight thing has caused a lot of confusion. Specialized with their s-works original were below 20kg with a "full power bike" gen 2 version. Their gen 3 is more realistic. They have a gen 4 coming which i beleive is around 21 kg.

@@winters3 Dude , thats an 11000.00 euro bike. Why on earth would you pigeon whole yourself to a 2-3 hr ride, perhaps two rides a week 4-6 hrs , maybe 250 -300 hrs a year. Because the bike is lighter to pick up ? Most of the SL bikes are weapons hard core enduro, your looking for gravity not XC trails . The review was done on a chair lift , like come on.
