Continuing with the collection, I have recreated the Code 3 XL light bars on the famous Ecto 1, and Ecto 1A

Man I loved rotators till they got noisy. You turned a bar on and it brought back memories. I had a patrol car back in the day that sounded like it was drilling holes in the roof of my patrol car. You should see the lights on this new Intercepter.

Dude you have a great collection. I like the ecto 1. The old siren. Boy I still love the movie. I'm working on my beacon collection. I actually just busted the screw mount base of one of my beacons. Oh and if you know any where I could get and old southern vp teardrop rotator that would be a great edition to my collection. And I'm not sure where I can get very viable bright lights cheap. Any ideas will help

Looking at the GB2 again the lighting set on the rear bar is actually Amber-Blue-Green-Green-Blue-Amber

Bar itself can be found for $100. But then from there, it's hard to say. Domes can be $50-100 each, and filters can be $3-30 each.

you need a xl5000? i have a 74'' i can cut down to what ever size that one is and i have clear domes to put on it, dont have any color filters tho

I like the different colored light bars of the Ecto-1A at 2:25. don't get me wrong, i still like the blue light bars of the Ecto-1 of the first movie, but i like the different colored light bars of the Ecto-1A of the second movie more because they are really colorful. i am definitely aware the 1959 cadillac miller meteor ambulances are really difficult to com across nowadays, but if i could find an original 1959 cadillac miller meteor ambulance car in a junkyard in great shape both inside and outside a little rusted some that could be a fixer-upper, i would definitely buy it, and i would create my vision of the car for Ghostbusters III. i would convert to look exactally just like the Ecto-1A down to the very last final detail. EXCEPT with only six new changes to it. a custom fan-made Ghostbusters III logo of the ghost walking out of the no sign smiling and holding up three fingers, AND two custom fan-made Ecto-1B license plates made to look exactaly just like the Ecto-1A license plates for the front AND back bumpers! i wish sean sutherland could also build the Ecto - 1A led message board lights sign too.

Hello just wondering where do I get the blue green and amber filters for the xl bat I've found red but the other color filters I have yet to find does code 3 still produce them.

They haven't produced them in years. Blue and amber are out there, you just have to hunt for them. The green is a needle in a haystack. I do know you can create some filters by using film gells, I have a set of green for the one bar that I built. You do have to double them up to get the right green

I don't remember the name but if you call the phoenix fleet maitnence yard where they put all the lights on vehicles they can tell you sorry I don't know the name also be careful what lights you get to put on it if you get a r/b you can get in trouble also if you buy a controller with a siren in it the best idea is to not wire up the siren I just wanted to warn you you can do that if you are in a posse or something though if you have the right papers

I may be buying a whelen lightbar. I think it's an edge 9000. If I get it, will I need a control box for it to work. In a few years when I can get my blue permit for volunteer fire I was planning on using this. I'm also going to buy lenses for it because it's green and blue. I already know where I would get the lenses. Some answers would be great. This will be my first lightbar. I have plenty of beacons and one dash light

Sorry if I confused anyone. I thought having my name on the page, I could post any videos I wanted too...INCLUDING light videos that people request. I also thought the titles are clever enough for people to decipher what may be trucking related and not. And as a side note, not that I owe anyone an explanation, I'm moving away from trucking.
