Hello, excellent video. One question: how did you light the acrylic? greetings
@IBMTechnology Жыл бұрын
The glass board has ultraviolet lights around the perimeter and a "talent" light strip on the presenter-side that illuminates them. You can adjust the brightness of either for brighter text / better illuminated presenter.
@cristianchinohz Жыл бұрын
thanks for answering. Is that pencil special to look like that in those lights?
@IBMTechnology Жыл бұрын
It's a "neon" type dry erase marker. It has phosphorus in the ink and the ultraviolet light makes it glow.

But in recent videos, there are text / graphics (such as bulleted points or 2D co ordinate axis ) appears animated and the person speaking write next to these animated points which slides in from left to right on to the board. In addition to manually writing, how do these animated points or text or graphics appear on the glass?
@jeffcrume Жыл бұрын
Magic! 😂 We have a talented team that helps with this. Those animations are added after the video is recorded. We just have to rehearse in advance what will happen, when and where and then let the creative guys do their thing

«wasn't that obvios already?» -- If it was so obvious they wouldn't have produced this video. But here arises another question - how that to you, smart guy, wasn't obvious that it wasn't (so) obvious since that the mighty smarty IBM had to make this video? Take into account - as an advice - that smart programmers (and else) are often quite clumsy about things that are obvious to others. It's about focus of mind, and getting it obvious could also indicate a narrowness (smart on secondary issues).

@@IBMTechnology I would put, on top of the description of every video, and also on a pinned comment: "click (this one) to learn how to write backwards in just few hours" (otherwise those asking "how do you..." are not going to click it) and "we'd appreciate just a like if you find this video useful" Nice to read comments, but too much of them are of void complimentary meaning.
