Lightburn Projects: Notebook Cover

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to create a notebook cover using Lightburn software. This is a quick and easy laser design suitable for beginners and can be created for any size notebook. We cut the notebook covers using our xTool D1.

**SETTINGS USED**
NOTE: Personally I wouldn't use the settings below for the CUT portion as I had to do two passes with those settings and it created slight burnt edges.
- xTool D1 10w Laser Engraving and Cutting Machine
- 1.5mm basswood
- cutting (mm/sec) - 100power/9speed - 2 passes (see note above)
- engraving (mm/sec) - 40power/60speed

Just finished watching the denim video, went to your channel and saw this one. Ironically I just purchased a notebook at the Dollar Tree with a plain cover. I was going to lay the entire book on the laser bed with the cover facing up and cut out my design (for granddaughter) and glue a contrasting color underneath it. I like this method too and will give it a try. Your two videos just earned you a new subscriber! Good job. I'm a 70 year old, newbie from central Kentucky with my first laser.
