"The beauty of North Carolina, and the beauty of this venue, is second to none." We couldn't agree with Kelly's dad any more. Somewhere on the sprawling Biltmore Estate of Asheville, NC, we were tucked away in the Vanderbilt's old cow barn, which had been transformed into an elegant dining hall for Caleb & Kelly's reception. And it was picture perfect. The late-April weather breeze flowed in and out of the tall screen windows, the creamy tablescapes were set off by the twinkle lights that arched over the high ceilings, and there was nonstop laughter, chatter, and joy filling our ears.
But even better than all that, was having known Caleb through high school, parting ways as he attended Wake Forest, seeing pictures of a gorgeous, fun girl appear in his photos on social media, and watching them grow into an inseparable partnership as they graduated and began new ventures in PA and medical school. We wish we could know every couple this well, because it makes day that much richer and more exciting, and telling their story on film becomes not just a creative endeavor, but a work of passion and a source of pride. But that just makes these occasions even more special. WE LOVE YOU TWO!

Church: Basilica St. Lawrence. Downtown Asheville, hotel shots are Inn on Biltmore Estate, reception looks to be at Lions Crest, on Biltmore estate. Looks like a majority is on the estate, but not at the house itself.
