GREAT video. I plan to buy one of these off of ebay from you soon this holiday season. Love that you dont "wish wash" around the fact that they ARE rip offs/clones. You dont try to play them off like they are super high quality just that they can still get the job done :P

You probably figured it out already but for the others who might read this, its the titanium version that cost 30$. And, SrJoben, on the site county comm state that "peanut lighters are MADE exclusively FOR county comm". So, I paused the video where you compare the 2 inserts and Im pretty sure it is the fucking same lighter mechanism. The case might differ tho.

I think people buy stuff more happily when they have good info about it. And at this point everyone knows the folks who tell you every single thing is totally awesome in every way are a pack of liers. Even if I didn't have functioning ethics it's a stupid ploy.. I try to tell it like it is and let people make up their own mind about if it''s what they want.

I got one of these from China that arrived just yesterday. I swear I've treated it gingerly since, but already the o-ring has broken off. Cheap piece of garbage. I could buy a better o-ring and replace it but that would probably cost me more than the lighter was worth in the first place.

I doono. I got a split pea in trade a while ago but haven't tested it. It sounds like a bad o-ring or possibly poorly cut threading. My standard Countycom peanut lighters and the cheaper versions hold fuel indefinitely while closed. I check them every few moths and they always light.

i'm almost certain you got a bad product even if it was a rip-of / bad quality product it should still light in one or two times so you might consider sending it back, i'm not sure how well their warranty is however

Countycomm's prices have changed dramatically. The peanut lighter is now around $30.

countycomm simply buys its stuff in china. It communicates with the manufacturers to customize or improve some products because they have an established website and sell enough volume.
